Alec Baldwin Invited Elizabeth Warren On Podcast, Tweets Displeasure With Response

Alec Baldwin Invited Senate Candidate On Podcast, Not Happy With Response

On Wednesday, Alec Baldwin took to Twitter to express his disappointment at the way the office of Harvard professor and Senate candidate Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) responded to an invitation to appear on his podcast, "Here's the Thing."

"My office called Eliz. Warren re doing my podcast. They said if I flew 2 Boston, she'd give me 15 minutes. Politicians are so...thoughtful," Baldwin tweeted.

Baldwin's podcast, which is hosted online by New York public radio station WNYC, often features interviews with entertainers and newsmakers. A committed liberal Democrat, Baldwin has long been active in politics and has flirted with a run for office himself.

Baldwin's most recent guest was NBC executive Lorne Michaels, the executive producer of Baldwin's show "30 Rock." Other past guests include Chris Rock, director Stephen Daldry and political strategist Ed Rollins.
