Keira Knightley Hits 'A Dangerous Method' Premiere... With Spray Tan Snafu? (PHOTOS)

Keira Knightley looked lovely on Tuesday at the premiere of her new film, "A Dangerous Method." Walking the red carpet in London, Knightley wore an understated brown gown by Burberry with a slit in the middle and a gorgeous open back paired with Chanel jewelry and Christian Louboutin heels.

Unfortunately, as the Daily Mail pointed out, there was something a little splotchy going on with the actress' back... a fake tan mishap, perhaps?

Regardless, it couldn't be worse than Christina Aguilera's unfortunate drippy-leg incident last Saturday. That was some spray tan gone very, very wrong.

Save for the uneven coloring, Knightley was stunning alongside her handsome co-stars, Michael Fassbender and Viggo Mortensen.

What idiots, its clear she is not tanning. She prides herself on her natural fair skin. Does anyone see a tan? What I see is possible bruising or natural skin discoloration. Find something realistic to make up if you are going to make up a story.

Spray tan or tinea versicolor. On very pale skin it shows up as red or brown blotches, which it looks like she's got. Not a big deal.

Maybe it's just some shadows or reflections on her skin in the photo. Huffington Post GROW UP. Please report some real news. And, since your article mentioned it - AGAIN- did we really need to know about Christina Aguilera's "spray tan" failure? This is news? It's a constant nit picking of celebrities. You really need to improve your journalistic style.

She's a beauty, but her back doesn't look so good. Maybe she shouldn't have gone with a backless dress that evening. Maybe it was the lighting. Whatever the reason....it's nice to know she has her 'flaws' too, just like the rest of us. We tend to think of the Hollywood crowd as 'perfect'.

If this was a spray tan, she should get her money back, because the blotch is her only color. She looks blotchy like a sunburn peeling off.

Looks like birthmarks to me. I have a couple smaller but otherwise similar ones on my back, too. This is Kiera Knightly, not Tara Reid. Do we seriously think her people would spend all that time with styling and hair and makeup and just let her go out with fake tan splotches all over her back? Not a chance. She looks great!
