Roger Lewis Jr., a former football recruit for Ohio State, was arrested on Tuesday by police in Pickerington, Ohio and charged with two counts of rape, according to ThisWeek Community Newspapers.

According to The Columbus Dispatch, Lewis is being held at the county jail and his bond has been set at $250,000.

The high school receiver had verbally committed to Ohio State in August and was expected to be a part of the 2012 recruiting class that is being finalized this week. But he reportedly had to reopen his recruitment due to academic problems.

Lewis' high-school coach, Pickerington Central's Jay Sharrett, told The Columbus Dispatch this past weekend that he would be surprised if he signs a letter of intent with OSU and Lewis is also considering Marshall and Bowling Green.

Rivals.com gives Lewis a four-star rating and ranks him as the 20th best recruit in the state of Ohio.
