Julianne Hough Opens Up About Ryan Seacrest Relationship

We saw Julianne Hough hit the big screen in "Footloose," and with a whirlwind press tour for the upcoming "Rock of Ages" movie about to begin this spring, this blonde beauty isn't slowing down anytime soon.

With such a busy schedule, it's hard to imagine balancing work and a relationship with one of Hollywood's busiest moguls, Ryan Seacrest, but Hough says they have managed to make it work.

"It's a hard thing to do, especially when you're so caught up in your work and bettering yourself," Hough told Parade about her relationship with Seacrest. "It does get hard because you're so focused on that, but I think at the end of the day you have to find a balance with what's really important."

Hough, who began dating the multi-talented Seacrest in 2010, knows how fortunate she is to be able to juggle a hectic career with her love life.

"I'm so lucky that I have a great relationship," she said. "I'm very blessed and I don't take anything for granted. I think if you alienate people and just focus on your work then it just becomes lonely and it's not fun anymore."

Luckily, both Hough and Seacrest have learned how to make their jet-setting lifestyle work for them. The actress admitted to "Access Hollywood," in 2011, that they manage to make time for each other whenever possible.

"We're both really motivated and driven by what we love and what we're passionate about," she said. "We're both very passionate about our families too, so we definitely make the time for them. We're both really, really busy and traveling. I'm always traveling, so it just kind of works out."

Didn't the Footloose remake tank? Wow a dancer playing a dancer. That takes so much more talent to portray onscreeen than just any average acting role. I'll wager her next movie tanks too, unless Seacrest buys a few million tickets for it himself. As for Seacrest I don't fault him for taking full advantage of the reality show era. With so many cable networks in need of 24 hr programming reality shows are the easiest sell. Getting on the producing/executive producing end is netting him a fortune. Too bad most of the product he puts out there is trashy, hazardous to your mental health, psuedo-reality bollocks. And don't get me started on American Idol, where the ones who make the most money are the "judges" and the producers, not the winners, with a few exceptions, of the contest. The gay question? Wouldn't surprise me. Rock Hudson had the public fooled, although most Hollywood insiders knew, for his entire career until ultimately dying of an AIDS-related illness. Seacrest, with his power and connections, is fully capable of the same.

she is impossibly beautiful. Great singer/dancer. Can act enough to have a long career with lifetime movies. That Ryan Seacrest has a job that requires him to mouth a few words coherently as a MC and is paid many millions to do so must have sold his soul or something to get this opportunity in life.

A lot of people make snarky comments about Ryan. I use to work with him years ago in Atlanta, and he is the nicest guy. And hardworking too. He doesn't know the meaning of the word, quit. I don't know or care if he's gay or not. He's a true professional.

I know people who worked with him at LA and he isnt gay. But, he is exactly as you said--driven. Sounds like they have found exactly what they need at this time--a partner who isnt making demands on them.
