'Kitchen Nightmares' Gets Season 5 Renewal: Chef Gordon Ramsay Back For More

FOX has renewed Chef Gordon Ramsay's "Kitchen Nightmares" for a fifth season, ordering 16 new episodes.

“It’s great to be back for a fifth season… Who knew there were that many nightmares to be had?” said series star and executive producer Ramsay, in an official statement.

Throughout the reality series' run, Ramsay has travelled to 54 cities around the country, offering restaurants on the brink of closure some much-needed guidance on how to properly run a successful restaurant.

"Kitchen Nightmares" airs Fridays at 8 p.m. EST on Fox.

Can't stand people who get so uptight about FOOD!!! It's not that they do such great things to begin with. These people blow things WAY out of perspective.

Food being left out? Mice, rats, and bugs? Poor service? Food not properly cooked or under refrigerated are being blown out of perspective? It almost happens every show.

They should release these on DVD with the option to watch uncensored. There was one episode where the bleep went on for about eight to ten seconds. I REALLY wanted to know what he said during that entire bleep. Hysterical!!! :-)

One of the most entertaining and "educational" parts of KN is to listen to how many different ways Chef Ramsay can cook up the "F-word!" Delightful, really..., and if only they didn't effing bleep it all out!

Out of all that were mentioned I dislike all of those as well, I wish that they would bring back the movies they once showed almost each night of have some shows of substance, boobbutt's crying was so fake just like the rest of her, none have a thing to offer! And by the way I was not talking about Gordon, if you read my post a little more closely

EVERY episode...begins with him saying everything he tastes is horrible. Then, he watches the kitchen at work, which is always disfunctional. After the new menu and decorations, the kitchen starts strong, then gets all screwed up, then back for a successful end to the evening. I still watch every episode!

No it doesn't! In two episodes, he said that the desserts were fantastic! I think the "vomiting" though? Really???? You have 4 kids and bad food is what does you in? Years of baby poo, but bad tasting food sends him a-heaving. o....k....

I love Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares'. and frankly I just love to watch anything he does foul mouth and all. He appears to be a truly great chef and how he helps even the toughest and worse resturant owners. Looking forward to seeing him with new resturant and shows again.

Hell's Kitchen is staged to the max.
Nightmare's is clearly staged at times but I think it reflects the reality for better than HK.

You get a real sense of the chef and businessman who does really know what he is doing.
