Michelle Williams To Take RV Road Trip With Daughter

Michelle Williams' RV Trip?

Michelle Williams could be heading to the Academy Awards stage to pick up an Oscar for Best Actress, and soon after she'll be hitting the road.

The "My Week with Marilyn" Oscar contender sat down with Kelly Ripa and "Live! with Kelly" guest co-host Peter Facinelli to talk about her plans to take an RV roadtrip with daughter, Matilda.

"I'm really looking forward to taking a break," Williams said. "I've been working pretty consistently for a while ... She want to take an RV trip. It doesn't sound quite right, does it?"

But Facinelli, a proud 40-foot RV owner, piped in, "It's the most fun you'll ever have."

Williams has had a busy year, indeed, carefully studying Marilyn Monroe so that she could transform herself into the icon -- a task that she says Monroe also undertook.

"She created her own character, so why couldn't I?" Williams explains.

But with the accolades rolling in -- Williams took home the Best Actress Golden Globe for "Marilyn" -- it's time for a mother-daughter getaway. After all, Williams admitted in her Golden Globes acceptance speech that her daughter was the sole reason for her success.

"She wants to go to the Grand Canyon," Williams says of her forthcoming four-wheel getaway. "She wants to have a very typical family vacation."
