Bee Gee Robin Gibb's Health Improving After Illness

LONDON — Bee Gee star Robin Gibb says he is making a strong recovery and putting on weight after suffering from a serious illness.

He told BBC radio on Friday that he feels better than he has in a decade.

The 62-year-old had suffered from severe weight loss in recent months and has been hospitalized for stomach and colon problems that forced him to curtail public appearances.

He has not specified the exact nature of his illness but told the BBC he had a growth on his colon that was removed.

The singer says his doctors have been amazed by his recovery.

Gibb and his brothers scored many top hits during the disco era.

He's not recovering. I think it was in December he said he has liver cancer and thatit has spread.

article gives out some hope...'you can beat this' ...and gives an example of a wife who had uterine cancer who beat the odds...robin was said to have a good spirit especially with those close around him....i don't know,as of yet...found out about druid health...but as a firm believer in God, the Bible...'bloodless surgery' and naural care ...with his illness is so far along that other medicines offer hope as in chemo-care.....i wish him the very best..

The brothers are ICONS in the music industry!. Any's passing (even though he was a solo artist and not part of the trio) was devastating to them, then with Mo's passing ...TRAGIC to say the least. I dare say Barry and the brother's older sister Leslie, could barley stand another loss. Heal well Robin, your family, friends and fans ADORE YOU and send love to you and your entire family!!

I am so happy that Robin Gibb is making a recovery. I was so very worried about him, after seeing his drastic weight loss. I prayed for him. I love all of the Bee Gees, and Andy too. GOD bless them all, and special positive good thoughts, and prayers for Robin.

I didn't know he was ill....but I certainly wish him a speedy recovery and long
lasting health hereafter......

The Bee Gees were right at the top of my "favorites" back in the 70's......

I'll tell ya what's really SAD......

The "oldie goldies".....be they singers or actors.....have to get
seriously ill or die.....BEFORE the public is made aware of
their "comings or goings"... i.e ...concerts/tours/etcetc.........WHILE.....
We get INUNDATED on a daily basis.....multiple times at that...

With the likes of the TALENTLESS.....and mindless Kim Kardashian
EVERY time she steps out the door or goes to dinner or tweets
or..........

Wellllll.....you get the picture....

His twin dies a few years back after being misdiagnosed. His youner brother Andy died years ago of a drug overdose. He was hooked on cocaine. The only ones left are Robin and Barry.
