Boston Magazine Launches New Home Design Blog Roost

One of the best ways for us to keep an eye on all of the great things happening in the home design world across the country is by browsing the decor blogs of some of our favorite regional magazines, which include Design Dose by Chicago Home + Garden and State of Style by California Home + Design. Now we're adding Boston magazine's newly launched home blog Roost to that list of must-reads.

While Boston may be mostly known for its numerous colleges, when it comes to home decor it has always been a city full of great design gems. There is a handful of excellent home furnishings and antiques shops and Boston's trendy South End neighborhood has emerged in recent years as a hub for amazing art and design. That said, we're glad that we now have another regional design focused blog like Roost to help us stay on top of what's happening in design in Boston from a local's perspective. Roost's content has proven to be enticing so far, featuring posts on design events and bargain finds around the city as well as spotlights on small home boutiques, and it's all thanks to Boston magazine's home editor Rachel Slade who runs the blog with her gimlet eye for style.

Head over to Roost to see more of their coverage of Boston's home decor world.
