'Inside Comedy': Chris Rock Calls Bill Cosby 'The Greatest' (VIDEO)

Chris Rock talked to "Inside Comedy" host David Steinberg about the legacy of two of the funniest black stand-up comedians in history, Bill Cosby and Richard Pryor.

Comparing the two pioneers, Rock acknowledged Cosby as "the greatest." He said that Cosby's work was of such a high caliber that no one ever attempts to copy it. Whereas, Pryor, on the other hand, "as great as Richard is, I do a little Richard, Eddie [Murphy] does a little Richard ... "

Explaining what makes Cosby's material so great, Rock said that none of it "is predicated on a reference point. Each joke is so f***ing good that it withstands the reference. Almost all of them would work today. ... And you can't say that about any other comedian."
