So it's going to be a drama, not a campy comedy.

And it's going to have regular looking characters, not B-movie horror makeup.

And it's going to be called "Mockingbird Lane."

So, basically, they're making a new version of the classic program, EXCEPT it's going to have nothing in common with it and be completely different.

They are taking a show from the 60s, changing the name and making it a drama which means the characters will also change. The only thing the same will be the names. What's the point then? Why not just change the names, because it's not really a reboot or a remake or whatever. It's basically a new show because the premise, which is the heart of a show, is totally different. And I was never a Munster fan either. I preferred the Addams Family.
