Selita Ebanks, Former Victoria's Secret Angel, Set To Launch Swimsuit Collection (PHOTOS)
Selita Ebanks may have been out toasting Christian Louboutin's twentieth anniversary in New York City Wednesday night, but the model revealed that she also has her own reason to celebrate.
Ebanks dished to The Cut that she's trying her hand at design and launching a swimsuit collection.
"I just feel like a woman should be able to go from the pool, the yacht, the beach, straight to dinner with her boo and still be fabulous and chic," she explained.
We're sure the multitasking suits will be a hit--especially since Ebanks should know a thing or two about itsty-bitsy attire. After all, the former Victoria's Secret angel has modeling swimsuits, intimates and other sexy items to thank for her fame and fortune.
The collection, which will include cover-ups, accessories, and shoes, doesn't have a name or launch date yet. And since Ebanks isn't formally trained in the art of swimsuit design, she has been working hard to master the craft.
"There's a long process of learning, you know, what a dart really is, hems, fabric, and testing things out--trial and error," said Ebanks.
We're anxious to see what the suits will looks like. If she's inspired by any of her Victoria Secret Fashion Show getups, there's sure to lots of glitz!
However, let's not forget Ebank's crotch-bruising incident with a pair of diamond encrusted panties. Ouch! We'll just assume the new collection won't have too many embellishments.
