Suspicious Spouses Use Soiled Undies To Expose Infidelity

Exposing marital infidelity can be a costly and time consuming endeavor. Sure, there is a plethora of high-tech methods out there, but did you know you can now go CSI-style on your significant other's soiled undergarments to expose an extramarital affair?

A national DNA testing company, The Paternity Lab Center, is providing the relatively sophisticated technique for suspicious mates who are seeking definitive answers.

"Usually, people only contact us when they are at the end of their rope. This is just the way to confirm their fears," Paternity Lab Center specialist Kip Charles told The Huffington Post.

So, if the tell-tale signs of a cheating partner are detected and you want answers, the process is relatively simple.

"Just provide us an article of clothing, preferably underwear or panties, and we will do the rest," Charles said. "We can identify if semen or female DNA is present [and] make sure it's viable for DNA extraction."

The cost for the detection service is $200. The fee is relatively inexpensive compared to other methods, such as electronic spy gadgets and high-priced private investigators.

Most of the male clients want to check for someone else's semen in their wife's or girlfriend's panties. The female clients want to know whether female DNA is present in their husband's or boyfriend's underwear or in female undergarments they have found in their partner's possession.

If a test comes back with a positive result, a client can take it a step further and request a comparison test for an additional fee of $215. The test will compare the client's DNA to the foreign DNA that was detected, undermining any possible alibi.

"Your partner can always say it is your [fluid], but if you take the comparison test, you are able to say, 'I found sperm [or female DNA]; it's not mine, and here is the proof,'" Charles said. "What I like about DNA is a person can't lie their way out of it because of the scientific nature of it. There is no excuse they can come up with for that."

The Paternity Lab Center's official business is paternity testing. The infidelity test is just one of the services they provide. Approximately 60 percent of clients who hire them for this new form of testing are male. They claim that roughly 30 percent of the tests reveal fiendishly damning DNA evidence.

While not everyone agrees with the concept of infidelity testing, Charles said there is little to fear if you are faithful to your mate.

"We get people who look at it from an invasive point of view, who feel it is a violation of someone's rights. Others say, 'Listen, if you're not cheating, you have nothing to worry about, so why get so upset?'"

If you want to get a real rise out of your spouse, use dog semen from your local puddle breeder.

That's sort of amusing.

It is true that if a person is not cheating then this should not worry him or her. It hurts when you are cheated on and this is great because, it will help people to find out if their partners are who they think they are.

If you're not cheating, and the other person gets your underwear tested it is a problem, because 1. They don't trust you, not good for a relationship, and 2. Often people who are adamant about fidelity are the ones doing the cheating. Since cheating isn't a crime, and this is all about emotions and relationships, this article is wrong, cheater or not, it's a bad thing, and everyone should be having a discussion about the future if $400 underwear sampling is even considered.

This is what I hate about a lot of liberal views these days when it comes to protecting privacy - they state just like this person in this article "Others say, 'Listen, if you're not cheating, you have nothing to worry about, so why get so upset?'" ------- OK, if YOU really feel that way - then why not open your house up for inspection ANY TIME any "authority" or even your neighbor wants to pop in - then let the "authorities" check all your closets, drawers, cabinets, etc - AFTER ALL "if you're not cheating (or have NOTHING to hide??), you have nothing to worry about, so why get so upset?'" Why don't you also expose to the public your medical records, birth certificate (Obama??), school grades, etc - AFTER ALL - if you have NOTHING to hide "you have nothing to worry about, so why get so upset?'"

I would figure that a woman finding another woman's underwear that their guy has would be evidence enough for her.

Not shocking that men are the ones paying for this service. It's all in the burden of proof at this point! If the undie don't fit, you must aquit!

Wow! Talk about a woman's WORST nightmare. I knew before I got to the bottom of this article that it would say mostly men are the ones that are having these test performed. Historically Women have been way better at this "game" than men. But technology out performs "game". Women generally don't need these types of test because they are genetically better at detecting cheating then men are. This has to do with evolution. If a woman lost a man to another women back in the day her and her child could literally starve to death. So she had to be vigilant.

Men don't expose women who cheat with them for evolutionary reasons also. If a man was found out historically he could be killed. In addition he had no reason to expose the women because he had the benefit of having another man use his energy and resources to raise his genetic off-spring.

Test like this will start to turn the tables and show what any intelligent person has always known...Men and women cheat EQUALLY! In fact, some studies show women cheat slightly more than men.

How about using condoms? Then there wouldn't be any DNA, would there?
08:35 AM on 03/08/2012
there might not be semen, but there could be skin cells. Unless there is no contact of fluid or skin DNS could (probably would) transfer to the underwear. Forensic counter-measures are obvious of course - a really thorough washing of the area before getting dressed, not putting your underwear back on (toss it in the laundry at home evidence free). Your pants/skirt would tell the tale but are less likely to be sent in. Other things could be done. The arms race s on.

my wife would never be able to cath me with something like this.... my girlfriends don't wear underwear....!!!! :0 :0 :0

You wife would test YOUR underwear, if your wife has access to your girlfriends underwear you're allready busted. As long as you shower after sex so there's no "foreign" DNA in your underwear you should be fine. They can't detect what isn't there.

don't wear one either.....

You might not want to shell out the money if your wife is cheating on you with your twin brother.
