Super Bowl Food: 11 Amazing/Disgusting Snack Stadiums (PHOTOS)

While fans of the Giants and the Patriots are going to be fixated on the football this Sunday, let's face it - the neutral just wants to eat during the Super Bowl. And if there's one thing Americans do really, really well, it's eating.

We were amazed when we stumbled across these mini-stadium platters made entirely of food that people somehow put together. Are these creations works of culinary genius or just plain gross? We'll leave that to you guys to vote on. And please keep the poor people eating this stuff in your thoughts as they undoubtedly obliterate their gastrointestinal tracts this weekend.

My husband and I have been on a vegan no-fat diet for a while. Makes sense from a health standpoint, but it leaves us with an almost uncontrollable craving for junk food. I'd absolutely eat every part of all of those in a flash and come back for seconds.

You should see me with Costco samples. Their employees probably make the sign of the cross when they see me coming. I REALLY like everything with meat in it. Fried, better yet. Twinkies and guacomole? Yes, please. Can I have that with hot cheese dip?

My only disappointment was that nobody made goalposts out of fried butter sticks. I feel very strongly that Iowa recently set a whole new American culinary standard, and it was a damn shame that none of these chefs were brave enough to rise to that challenge.

Definition of a vegan - somebody not eating animal products: somebody who does not eat meat, fish, dairy products, or eggs.

Are you still currently claiming to be a vegan? or have you since become meat eaters? Just looking for clarity.

I don't have even slightest, remote interest in superbowl / football anything.

The food thing, though, is somewhat fascinating in its own way. Not sure if those are Twinkies, or corndogs (or maybe both) in #4 and #5 . . . yikes! The sandwiches in #9 at least look edible.

Of course, if I was so inclined, my suggestion would be to have a "bowl" event between the absolute worst teams on the planet, which could then be promoted as . . . 
the "toilet bowl"!

OK, it's just an idea

I'm a junk food lover and it all looks pretty tasty to me. (Maybe because I am sworn off the beloved junk food of my youth because it's loaded with carbs and salt and I never have it anymore. I am drooling looking at these pictures!) Some are much better food sculptures than others. (The ribs don't seem to belong with the others as they aren't built to look like something else.) I wouldn't rate any of them disgusting.

The Sandwich Stadium was the best, I just hope though they have enough people to eat it. Those sandwiches look tasty.

Right--I'd give that one first place too. And the one with the white cardboard stands with the food on top was totally cheating. I would have DQ'd that instantly.

Some of those stadiums are truly impressive. I do have to wonder how many people get a food born illness from food sitting around all day, especially the cold cuts and mayo based dips. I like looking but wouldn't eat it.
