Feel like your co-workers are a bunch of clowns? Well, the human star of this Super Bowl ad would love a job in your office, if there are any openings. In fact, he might just visit CareerBuilder.com to check if anyone is hiring.

Because, you see, our protagonist works with a group of monkeys, literally. As you may have guessed, business travel with this group is not pleasant. And, whatever you do, keep an eye on your tooth brush.

For years, viewers have tuned into the NFL's Super Bowl as much to see what the advertisers roll out as how the two teams vying for the sport's top prize perform. This year is no different. Each time that NBC cuts away from Super Bowl XLVI between the New York Giants and New England Patriots a hush will come over most Super Bowl parties as everyone -- and not just the diehard sports fans with a rooting (or betting) interest -- focuses entirely on the ads.

While iconic Super Bowl commercials like Apple's '1984' and Coke's ad starring Mean Joe Greene will be remembered so many more are soon forgotten or, even worse, ridiculed as super fails.

How does this Super Bowl ad stack up?

CareerBuilder’s ad is disgusting. The company is deliberately supporting a chimpanzee training industry that abuses animals, psychologically and physically, despite growing outrage from animal lovers around the world. “No chimps were beaten during the taping of our ad," their PR spokespeople protest. Well, of course not. That happens earlier, off the set. And to top it off, the juvenile slapstick isn’t even funny. The Wall Street Journal poll rated it one of the worst of the night, right down in the cellar with Sketchers.

Thanks, but my life is great. I prefer to use my time trying to save the lives of chimpanzees who are used in entertainment and research. It is too late for this show biz chimp: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RWPrEHJO2G8

Thanks for what you do, naturallady. I hope readers will add their names to this letter from Jane Goodall to CareerBuilder.com asking them to stop using trained chimps in their ads:
