Donald Trump Takes Credit For Mitt Romney Romp In Nevada (VIDEO)

Real estate mogul Donald Trump called into Fox News on Monday morning and matter-of-factly took credit for propelling Romney to a nearly 30-point victory in the Nevada caucuses over the weekend.

"There was a lot riding on that particular race in Nevada and it was interesting, because the numbers were much, much greater than you thought," Trump told "Fox and Friends." "And a lot of people are giving me credit for that. And I will accept that credit. Always accept credit."

Polling in the week before voting in Nevada predicted a Romney landslide, though by a few points less than the eventual margin of victory. While Trump appears confident that his endorsement dramatics were a boost to the Romney campaign, according to a Politico/Facebook survey taken in the wake of the spectacle, 41 percent of Nevadans said Trump's endorsement gave them a more negative view of Romney.

Trump endorsed Romney last week after media reports had first suggested he would throw his support behind Newt Gingrich.

Asked this weekend to discuss the confusion, Gingrich gave a blunt assessment.

"We all thought that was kind of weird," the former House Speaker said from a post-caucus press conference at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas. "There are few people better at manipulating the press than Donald Trump and he proved it once again. You have to admire the sheer chutzpah."

With Trump on board Mitt will never again be considered a serious cantidate. Mitt sold his soul and his dignity. He won't win, but if he did you would see a special mini-series edition:

"The Apprentice: Making of the Commander and Chief."

When he loses Trump will say "you're fired."

And to think that Mitt fired his debate coach for getting little too far in front of the campaign in the press, and the debate coach actually added something of value to the campaign.

Now what's Mitt going to do with this stuffed shirt, overvalued megalomaniac?

When someone is unemployed and living off their saving they tend to count every penny. When they make $22 million a year and are unemployed ,they run for presidsent.

And Newtie knows all about chutzpah. He gets removed from the Speakership by his OWN party and now thinks everyone has forgotten and he's gonna be president. That's chutzpah, my friends.

If Romney becomes the nominee for the GOP ,the GOP is going to have a problem . Many will learn about corporate raiders. Just how destructive they are . That for every job they claim to create, 5 are lost. There is also a hugh silent majority out there that will see Romney as a 1% . The truth ,he is . Cliaming he is not will be impossible . Anyone in his business has to have very close ties to big banks and wall street. Getting folks to believe he is a regular guy that makes $22 million a year will not wash.

We knew that he was going to take credit, as soon as he gave his endorsement. We knew what it was about. He saw that romney was leading and he latched on, then claimed credit. It's like betting on a horse, just before it crosses the finish line in the lead, then claiming credit for it winning. During the last minute of the superbowl last night, I gave the Giants my endorsement. They won and clearly it as because of me, not because they were already leading and I could see that and simply picked the winner.

It is great to love yourself. It is wonderful to respect yourself. It is spectacular to have confidence in yourself. Saying that to say this, with all of that it is a sin and a shame to be that full of yourself.
