Samantha Koenig: Father Of Missing Alaska Barista Increases Reward (VIDEO)

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — The father of an 18-year-old Alaska woman who police say was abducted at gunpoint from her espresso stand says the reward for information that leads to her safe return has grown to $41,000.

James Koenig, the father of Samantha Koenig, had been offering a $12,500 reward.

The Anchorage Daily News () says donations have allowed him to increase the amount significantly.

Police said Sunday they had no new information to release.

The teen works as a barista at the Common Grounds Espresso stand, where police say a security camera caught an armed man kidnapping her Wednesday evening. Thousands of fliers have been distributed.

James Koenig on Saturday sent out a message to captors pleading for his daughter's safe return.
