Tom Brady's Wife, Gisele Bundchen, Curses After Patriots Fall To Giants In Super Bowl (VIDEO, PHOTOS)

The Huffington Post   First Posted: 02/ 6/2012 6:03 am Updated: 02/ 6/2012 10:04 pm

When the last second ticked off the clock at Super Bowl XLVI, there was no denying that Gisele Bundchen's Super Bowl prayers had been left unanswered. After all, her husband's Patriots fell to the Giants. As she made her way down to the New England locker room from her seat, Tom Brady's supermodel wife didn't hold back on her feelings about the final minutes of the game.

As Bundchen walked to the elevator, someone, presumably a Giants fan, could be heard screaming, "Eli owns your husband!" Bundchen didn't respond directly to the fan. But just before she got into the elevator, she let out a curse word while complaining that Brady can't throw the ball and catch it at the same time. She was seemingly referring to any one of several key dropped passes late in the game.

With a little more than four minutes left and New England leading, 17-15, the usually-reliable Wes Welker dropped a key pass that would have put the Patriots in the red zone and in a position to put the game away. After the Giants went on to win, an emotional and clean-shaven Welker blamed himself for the final result, seemingly affirming Gisele's point of view.

"It's a play I never drop. Most critical situation and I let the team down," the distraught Welker said. "It comes to the biggest moment of my life and I don't come up with it. It's discouraging."

Following Brady's postgame press conference, photographers were able to catch some snapshots of the Bundchen consoling her husband before they left Lucas Oil Stadium.

Gisele is correct, the receivers are at fault. That is what these guys are paid millions of dollars to do!

Here are the ESPN highlights of the game: http://youtu.be/9IZ5gLsp7tM

Brady set several all time Super Bowl records, you have to be thick in the head to think he is at fault here.

Interesting comments about his super model wife, were you raised in a barn?

You perfect husband had 2 picks and no TDs and advances because of a dropped pass in the end zone. Shut up idiot. You have no talent at all so stop criticizing professional athletes you husband has to work with and realize that those same mistakes got him there in the first place. Stupid glamor girl that doesn't realize her place.

Apparently she just has high standards and gets upset that everyone, everywhere doesn't live up to them. She doesn't seem to understand their lack of perfectness and it frustrates her to no end

Wow those two are not good looking people when the lights and makeup and Air Brushs are not at work for them.

She looks AAAAAWFULLLLLLLLL! I would not give her a second look on the street other than for her freakish size.

Him two, what is he covering with that hair cut, I assume lack of hair.

The best consolation prize anyone could have is a wife like Giselle, that is willing to fight for her husband.

It's just plan rude that anyone would heckle the wife of a football player at anytime.

They got the snappy answer they well deserved. The rest of the country should have stayed out of it, and move on. It was no big deal and doubt Brady's teammates are going to take her critique very seriously. Yet they know what really happened.

It's a game, for god's sake. People need to get a grip. And she didn't "curse the receivers," she just made the point that Brady cannot do everything. These players essentially sacrifice their health, their lives for this game. Foolish in my opinion. But even more disturbing is the lack of empathy "fans" have for this sacrifice. Let the players be after they compete, man. I know that many have annoying personal habits, like all of us, and those seem more unacceptable to some because said players make millions of a dollars a year. But if you're going to watch this bizarre combination of Greco-Roman brutality, Judeo-Christian sky pointing, and monumental greed without any cognitive dissonance, at least let it go at the end of sixty minutes. Just not worth any more of your time, really.

Gisele was right to stand by her man.. I would be peeved if anyone yelled at me the way those hecklers did while I was hurting for my husband..

However, where G went wrong is 1) using the f bomb (those hecklers didn't use profanity with her) and 2) inadvertently throwing his team mates under the bus. This may create problems with team morale and she has to not only defend her husband as a wife, but her husband's team...

As a famous model who will hopefully go to more Super bowls.. she has to learn how to deal with the pressure better and from her pray for Tommy email it seems she must have been wigging out even prior to the game.

Honestly, seems like she was just being a good wife. Even if it's totally untrue (which it was) it's still nice to hear that your closest friend has always got your back.
