'Anderson': Joan And Melissa Rivers Talk Hoarding, Plastic Surgery And Grandkids (VIDEO)

First Posted: 02/ 7/2012 2:05 am Updated: 02/ 7/2012 2:33 am

Anderson Cooper sat down with Joan Rivers and her daughter Melissa on "Anderson" (Weekdays, Syndicated) to chat about a little bit of everything. With hoarding so popular in the media and on television -- holding down two weekly reality series -- he asked the women if they have any hoarding tendencies.

Melissa revealed that she still has some clothing from when she was in college, while Joan went a far more macabre direction. "I just keep pieces of my plastic surgery," she said. "They cut it off, you think, I like that."

Later, Joan reiterated her stance on plastic surgery. "If somebody feels better, I think plastic surgery's great," she said. "I like having a tight face that's pulled, 'cause every time I swallow I have an orgasm."

When the conversation shifted to grandkids, Joan admitted she was crazy. But another topic means another Joan Rivers joke. "I'm getting worried 'cause he's adorable, he's polite, he loves his mother, he's quiet," she said. "And those are the signs of a serial killer."

"Anderson" is syndicated weekdays. Check local listings for channel and time.

Joan has admitted that when someone NonJewish crossed her she would lie and make up that the person was anti-semitic in order to ruin that persons career

Yesterday on "Anderson Cooper", Anderson helped a family of hoarders. Anderson understands their problem, because he's got a ton of stuff jammed in his closet, too.

I haven't had a really good laugh since Bob Hope, George Burns, and Lucille Ball died, and Carol Burnett went off the air. They never had to use a "filthy" word to make me laugh till my sides ached. Guess I'm just an old prude.

what's worse is that Rivers has the gaul to make fun of Hilary Swank by calling Swank Ugly. HAS she seen Melissa - her own daughter. Rivers lives in a glass house which is sad

so this is the justification for looking like a plastic doll?

LMAO!

Keep telling a kid that and he'll believe it himself. She needs to quit talking about the orgasms she doesn't have. She's got a filthy mouth.

It's sad to see a story thats makes a condition that truly affects the lives of so many be used so loosely and trivial. Why is this even a story? Did this some how become a beacon for promoting televison shows? It's almost insulting to those who have been affected by the condition know as hoarding. It can cause people their lives, sanity, and finical stability and here it's just a stupid little joke used to attract attention for a damn tv show. Real cool guys, keep up the great work.....

this is so true

so sad that they put this on a televison show just to make money and i think it just hurt people in the long run It can cause people their lives

we have worked hoarders for years.its a mental illnesses.and a illness that is very hard to understand.you can be rich or poor. and its not looked at that way by the state and federal goverment so it really hard for them to find funding for this.hoarders come from all walks of life, we have done many high profile jobs for clients. many hoarders will put it off saying they will clean later but sometimes later comes too late.and family members and friends stay away because of this.you may check out our web site..www.deppropertyservices.com
