Breckenridge Brewery's 'Truth In Beervertising' Ads Parody Famous Beer Commercials

The Super Bowl has come and gone, along with the countless ads companies spent millions on and prayed we would watch. Among those were a handful of beer ads that never fail to entertain. And of those beer ads, forming a tiny tiny subset, were Breckenridge Brewery commercials promoting "Truth In Beervertising."

While the "Truth" campaign launched way back in 2011, two new locally-aired spots were recently released in time for Super Bowl season. The latest mock Dos Equis' "Most Interesting Man In The World," and the infamous Corona "Beach" scenes.

A press release on Beer Advocate states the original campaign was created by Denver-based Cultivator Advertising for about $10,000.

I like that Breckinridge Brewery is parodying other beer commercials. I think “it’s cold” is my favorite.

Budweiser beer commercials are great but their beer is yellow fizzy water not worth drinking.

I prefer to brew my own beer.

Great commercials. I especially liked "it's cold". (Anyone that has so few brain cells left that they need special instructions to know if a beer is cold has already had too much to drink.)

Unfortunately, their beer doesn't seem to be available out here in the Pacific Northwest.

Actually, that would be septuple hopped.

Those are pretty clever. So easy to parody the numerous beer commercials out there. Now if they could manage a bunch of shetland ponies in harness towing a radio flyer to parody the Clydesdales.
