It is hard to imagine a better music world than one where James Blake and D'Angelo cross paths. Thanks to Blake, it has happened. During a DJ set on BBC Radio 1 this past weekend, James Blake dropped a remix of D'Angelo's "Left & Right," a collaboration with Redman and Method Man from his 2000 album Voodoo. Blake significantly slowed down and warped the original track's R&B and funk sound. The result is wonky, domineering and oh-so satisfying.
