James Franco Directs New Ads For Seven For All Mankind (PHOTOS, VIDEO)

Renaissance man James Franco's vignette ads for Seven for All Mankind jeans, first touted back in November, are finally hitting the Internet.

Yes, Franco directs fashion ads now. Just go with it.

Women's Wear Daily reports that the actor and Ph.D. student shot the sun-drenched ads, which star model Lily Donaldson, on the Pacific Coast Highway in California.

Franco includes some other young stars: Henry Hopper (son of the late actor Dennis Hopper) and actress Nathalie Love (daughter of Teen Vogue's West Coast editor, Lisa Love) in both the print and film ads. But there's no direct mention of Seven for All Mankind in the spots -- it's more of a concept film. So very Franco.

We're not shocked that James is making his foray into fashion (he's already a face for Gucci cologne, as well as their new bespoke suit service). We're just worried he could use a nap.

The ads will debut on YouTube on February 15.
