Jennifer Aniston On Misconceptions, Aging And Refusing To Settle (PHOTO)

At some point in Jennifer Aniston's career, it became more about who she was dating than what she was doing on-screen.

Since her 2005 divorce from Brad Pitt, Aniston has been the subject of intense scrutiny, with tabloids hungry to know who's her latest beau, whether she's pregnant and whether she's still bitter about "losing" her husband to Angelina Jolie.

Seven years later, magazines continue to run countless headlines about her awkward run-ins with Brad and Angie, which according to Aniston, is the furthest thing from the truth.

Aniston is InStyle's March cover girl. In the magazine, she answers questions from readers, such as "What's the most annoying misconception about you?"

There there are "so many misconceptions" about her life, Aniston explains. "I would say the triangle with my ex-husband -- and that there's a feud there. It's constant. It's a story headline that won't go away, but it's a money thing -- [people make money off] a story that has nothing to do with reality."

Aniston's reality, however, is that she has moved on and is currently dating her "Wanderlust" co-star Justin Theroux. And at nearly 43, it's clear she's learned from her past relationships. "Having experienced everything you don't want in a partner over time, it starts to narrow down to what you actually do want," she told InStyle. "As I get older I realize what qualities are important in love and what suits me. And what I won't settle for."

With age comes experience, but Aniston certainly doesn't look her age -- nor does she really feel it. "You know what makes me feel old? When I see girls who are 20-something, or the new crop of actresses, and think. Aren't we the same age?" she said. "You lose perspective. Or being offered the part of a woman with a 17-year-old child. It's like, 'I'm not old enough to have a 17-year-old!' And then you realize, well, yeah, you are ... I don't feel my age. I feel young every day."

InStyle's March issue is on sale at newsstands on Feb. 10.

I'm guessing none of you people even know her. Usually people discuss what they want in life prior to marriage, like wanting children, or not. She talks about Brad because no one will let it go. I'm sure to have been cheated on like that must have been very hurtful, and it must not help to have people continue to bring it up and not let her move on. It might also cause someone to have trust issues. And what's the big deal about Angie and Brad? They are just humans, with good and bad traits, just like everyone else. Some of you people should really be ashamed of your hateful comments.

Is it me or do we have way too much fun writing abusive and hateful comments about celebrities. Honestly, get a life. They are just people. Respect, kindness and goodness seems to have shriveled up and died in this country, especially for celebrities. I mean, why do people hate them so much? You don't even know them. They are strangers with a career that put them on television. Does it have to bring out the nastiness in us to gossip and beat them up. I think the way we talk about celebrities is a real demonstration of our character. This is how we talk about and treat people when we feel there are no consequences.

It seems that only a few of us have depht and a heart, to be plain mean and hateful is so out of contro, as if there isn't enough hate as it is, this girl who minds her business has nothing to do with any of these haters or their lives who has done absolutely nothing to any of them doesn't deserve such hateful wishes...she doesn't even know these people, it's scary that so many people have so much hate in them and have such dark souls that they feel the need to go out of their way to be hateful and wish bad upon someone just because she is successful, famous and beautiful. Wishing her pain and destruction is disgusting...such negativity can only bring ugliness in their lives. lighten up people she is a human being that nas done no harm to any of you and does not deserve so much harmful wishes upon her.

This woman is a disaster. She divorced Brad Pitt because she didn't want kids thinking her career as a movie star would blossom. Not! She gambled and it didn't pay off and now she is grasping. She is attractive and not beautiful. She is also at the age where the good roles are not coming in for her except the same characters she has been playing for the last few years. And now the woman who took her ex, who is bisexual, beautiful, and a living Hollywood legend in the making, is stealing all the air in the room and poor Jennifer is forced to watch from the sidelines like everyone else. Please Jennifer marry your guy and do us all a favor and just go away. It's pretty much over for you, and many of us are just tired of hearing about you and your sad Hollywood story.

Wow, after reading your comments, I have to say poolboy is right on the money...you, Jill, and Hexon, and others who've popped up in the past (and I'm sure had something negative to say about this article, I'm just not going to read that much drivel) are obviously jealous, or just really hateful people. Hexon, you and others who repeat the same cr@p over and over..she didn't want kids, blah, blah, blah, don't know the first thing about what happened in her marriage, but it's interesting that, even if it were true, that you crucify this woman over and over, and make no mention of the fact that Brad Pitt CHEATED on her. That launch series of pictures below the story.. women you are over 40 stop putting your bangs to the side with a barette! You are not 13. (eye roll). Great you don't feel your age, but no you are not the same age as the Brooklyn Deckers and the Malin Akerman's and if you connect on a deep level with them then it might be that you are shallow. But that is just a guess.

It must be a lot knowing that the media is just using your old divorce to make money, and she needs to speak out against the whole thing moreoften.
