Jimmy Kimmel Calls Out Mitt Romney's Incorrect National Anthem Statistic (VIDEO)

Jimmy Kimmel has had his fair share of fun with Mitt Romney during the campaign, but on Tuesday night's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" he really dug into one of the GOP candidate's more outrageous remarks.

You might remember last week when Romney said Americans are "the only people on earth" who put our hands over our hearts during the national anthem. But that's just not true.

After pointing out that Italy, Japan, Venezuela and many other countries also follow this tradition, Kimmel presented a new campaign ad for Romney that touts even more erroneous "facts" about America. For instance, did you know that only in this great nation do men pee standing up? God bless America.

Are all of the republican candidates ignorant of history and historical events? What is so hard about retaining correct information and reciting it? Fifth graders seemed to do it effortlessly. Why can't the republicans have the same discipline?

To keep a little closer to the truth about Mitt's claim, and to stay in the same theme, Jimmy should have said 'America is the only nation where men sit to poop' (men pee standing up the world over, but there are plenty of nations where men don't sit to poop, they squat)

Over the past 5-10 years, my appreciation for Jimmy Kimmel has been consistently decreasing. I think now is a good time to give him another chance.
