Mitt Romney Gets Glitter-Bombed In Denver After 2012 Colorado Caucus (VIDEO)

Mitt Romney was glitter-bombed on Tuesday after a speech in Denver, the second time in a week that someone has thrown glitter at the candidate.

Last week, the glitter-bomber was more successful: Romney joked then that he had glitter in his hair, but said it was confetti to celebrate his victory in the Florida primary.

This time, with Secret Service in tow, the man who attempted to throw glitter didn't get much of a chance. In a video shown on CNN, the man stood behind a rope as Romney shook hands with supporters, then threw what appeared to be blue glitter. Romney was quickly pulled back by Secret Service agents, and the man was escorted from the event.

At this point, being glitter-bombed is a rite of passage for GOP candidates: Santorum, Gingrich and Paul have also been targeted, some more than once.

Well, based on the recent caucuses and primaries, it appears that it is time to pull Romney's secret service protection. He's not viable. None of them are. And they don't deserve protection if a handful of glitter frightens them.
