'The Pauly D Project': MTV Sets Premiere Date For Pauly D's 'Jersey Shore' Spinoff

Get ready "Jersey Shore" fans because Pauly D's highly-anticipated spinoff, "The Pauly D Project" is set to premiere Thurs., March 29, after the premiere of the all-new “Punk’d.”

“The Pauly D Project,” one of two scheduled "Jersey Shore" spinoffs, will give viewers an inside look at Pauly D’s life away from Seaside Heights, as cameras document his transition from fist-pumping housemate to world-class DJ, with his best friends from his home state of Rhode Island along for the ride.

The 12-episode reality series will even document Pauly D as he accompanies pop icon Britney Spears on her international “Femme Fatale” tour, and the super tan DJ will learn that life outside of Seaside is a lot more complicated than G.T.L.

“The Pauly D Project" will premiere at 10:30 p.m. EST on MTV, after the premiere of "Punk'd" at 10 p.m. EST.

I'm slightly ashamed to admit that I watch the Jersey Shore and Pauly D is hilarious. He doesn't really do anything that's offensive. He mostly makes funny comments about the other housemates and has really used to show to further his Djing career. I don't mind a reality star like him.

Yes. It's probably because Pauly D was at least mildly successful as a DJ before any of the Jersey Shore stuff hit. He enjoys kicking back and laughing at all the buffoonery. Shockingly, he's probably one of the smartest, most mature of the cast (with the other being Jenny).

I admit it: I watch "Jersey Shore". That said, it's time to turn on the lights at that party. I can only watch these "kids" get drunk and sleep with strangers so many times before it gets old.

But, Pauly D is getting a show? Congrats, Pauly! I'll bet this really is the best day of your life!

i have to agree with gus524. i stopped watching MTV a long time ago. i stopped watching when they stopped showing music videous. sorry for my spelling. but you know what i mean. MTV use to be great back when it first aired back in the 80's but not now. all that is on there now is a bunch of crap.
