Taylor Armstrong Denies Russell's Sister's Claims That Abuse Never Happened On 'Watch What Happens Live' (VIDEO)

Shortly before her husband Russell committed suicide, "Real Housewives" star Taylor Armstrong filed for divorce, accusing him of verbal and physical abuse during their five-year marriage.

However, Russell's sister, Laurie Armstrong Kelsoe has refuted those accusations. She has said that not only was there no domestic abuse, but also that she believes Russell may have been murdered.

Andy Cohen asked Taylor about Laurie's allegations on "Watch What Happens Live" (Weeknights, 11 p.m. EST on Bravo), saying that according to Laurie, "there's nothing that supports your accusations."

In response, Taylor said that Laurie wouldn't have known about the state of the Armstrongs' marriage because she was dealing with her "own problems and complications" for most of that time period.

Supporting her claims of physical abuse, Taylor said, "I have a titanium mesh implant holding up my right eye right now, so I don't know what more radiographic evidence you need than that."

Taylor announced that she'd had the implant back in October during an interview with KTLA-TV's morning show. During that interview she also alleged that her marriage was abusive long before the "Real Housewives" camera crew moved in and that she believed doing the show actually may have saved her life.

I think she is aggressive to others because she took it from him. That's common, she was affraid to vent at home so things set her off where she could vent. She is all over the place with her stories though. She's told so many versions I think she forgets where and when she changed them but I completely believe she was abused. BUT It's disgusting how fast she threw a book out there to try to benefit while the story was still hot. As quick as it was put out she had to of started on this as soon as they filled the grave with dirt. I wouldn't buy the book and I hope it doesn't sell well have some sort of decency and wait a year or 2 before you release a book. She has trampled so many people over the last 2 years with out thinking what she was putting her daughter through...very sad!

i think i speak for everyone when i say . show me the medical reports . show me the convictions of abuse . show me a police report . that is what a judge would say . let us see some palpable evidence of this abuse . let us see pictures of black eyes and the like . proof is what people want to see . people want to see actual legal documentation . better yet , let her take a polygraph .

Many victims of abuse never report or seek proper treatment. It would be the rule not the exception, as calling the police is a sign that things really aren't ok, something someone in denial cannot do. Women wind up dead at the hand of their husbands at shocking numbers and there is no " legal documentation ". She was in an abusive environment as a child , like many other victims and is able to " shut down" emotionally when it is happening.
Victims of domestic violence like to pretend everything's ok, and there is rarely any proof as they want to just go on as if everything fine. We already have enough murdered women already who were to scared to admit abuse, we don't need people holding a microscope to her.

This "woman" is an insult to all the women who have been abused!! One season she spent $50,000 for a kid birthday party and the next season she spent $45,000! Oh, and she had a personal dresser who brought clothes to the house for her to pick out. Oh, yes, she does drink alot and is very aggressive, maybe she is the abuser and Russell was fighting back.
She should wait until the body is cold before she trots out a book to "help other women in her situtition". Yea, we should live like her!! And yes, I was in a abusive marriage with a child and I didn't stay, but then again, my ex-husband didn't have the money that her husband had.
Where is your daughter while your running around the country boo hooing????

You're comment seems very hateful and judgemental. Why does it matter what she spent on the parties? As she states she wasn't made aware of the financial troubles her husband was having, this isn't uncommon. So if she thought there was plenty of money to have those parties, I don't see the problem, or why you should be wasting your time caring? Also, you see her drinking at events, she's almost NEVER filmed at home, its always in a social setting. Is socially drinking, even to the point of intoxication, not acceptable to you? I don't know, I've gotten drunk in a socal setting many times, I don't consider myself (and others don't either) a drunk or someone who "drinks a lot." You need a good dose of "don't believe everything you see on a reality TV show." If you watched the reunions, this past one, I thought she offered some insite as to why she stayed. I would love to say that I would leave the minute a man laid a hand on me, but who knows, I'm not acutally in that position. Aside from that, who are you to tell her she sould have handled it like you did? Come on...

Lauren, you know why it matters that she spent $50,000 on a kid's birthday party? Because they were broke. How do you reconcile a woman who eats celery sticks because she is so health conscious, yet she sticks a needle with poison into her facial muscle (botox). I don't drink alcohol and I don't criticize others for drinking, but there should be a point when you say I have had enough, no different than sitting in front of roast pig; you shouldn't eat all of it because it is there. Taylor's explanations makes no sense. Andy ask her why she came on the show if her marriage situation wasn't good and she said that because it would pretty much protect her, and he quickly asked why Russell agreed to be on the show, and watch Taylor worn her way out of it and changed the conversation. She overstated her wealth to the show and they maxed out their credit cards to keep up with the "Jones'". She should get off the show and focus her attention on her daughter, Kennedy. She is taking herself too seriously.

Because there are photos which document no sign of physical abuse, Taylor has now changed her story to say the damage was invisible. She even says the widely circulated black eye photo was in fact from Lasik surgery.
If you are determined to defend this disturbed woman, you need to keep current with her constant revisions.

People who are beaten to a "pulp" are pulpy. They have bruises. They don't go out to parties and charity events and get photographed looking perfect when they've been beaten that badly. It just doesn't make sense. I get that people want to believe her because it's terrible to think that a woman would be left in an abusive situation with no one to help but Shana Hughes Ford Taylor Armstrong is a grifter and a proven liar.
