'Game Of Thrones' Season 2 First Look (PHOTOS)

The second season of "Game of Thrones" is still a few months away, but the first bits of footage recently came out and now, new images have emerged!

In the new individual cast photos below, take a peek at Daenerys, the Starks and all your favorite "GOT" characters in action during Season 2, which will be 10 episodes.

"Game Of Thrones" Season 2 kicks off on Sun., April 1 at 9 p.m. EST.

The costumes! The set decoration! Even the sound effects! The attention to detail in this series equals or exceeds that of major motion pictures. And we haven't even gotten to the acting or screenplay yet!

I'm sure season 2 will be as good as the first. HBO has done a brilliant job at adapting the Song of Ice and Fire series. It's scary how close the series looks to what I imagined while reading the books.

I'm interested to see how the character of Brienne turns out on screen. I squeezed the entire book series in over the last three months, yes a few disappointing ends for some characters, but Martin keeps the suspense up.

The guy that plays Davos Seaworth, "The Onion Knight", looks more like what I envisioned Stannis looking like. Stephen Dillane just looks too nerdy to be Stannis.

It is truly cruel for these networks to make us wait so long for the continuation of the great shows. Game of Thrones, April, Dexter, argh, have to wait every year until August, and now maybe September. The Walking Dead takes a break mid season, argh!! Meanwhile, Jersey Shore, endless, 16 and pregnant, constantly on, Storage Wars, Swamp People, ugh...the list of mindless banter goes on.

You are soooo right, after two seasons I'm so fed up with the waiting I never come back. I wish the makers of Game of Thrones and The Walking Dead could hear this complaint, maybe we could get more episodes of them than we do of the Kardashians.

The Walking Dead doesn't take nearly as long as Game of Thrones or Curb Your Enthusiasm. And the good news is that this season is longer than the first. Now that it's a hit, I wouldn't be surprised if they made next season even longer.
