Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino Slams 'Jersey Shore' Housemates Over Gay Implications

Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino wants everyone to know that GTL stands for "gym, tan, laundry" -- and nothing else.

The "Jersey Shore" star has reportedly hit back at housemates Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWoww" Farley after they speculated about his sexuality and hinted he might be gay in an interview with HuffPost Gay Voices.

"Mike really ripped both Snooki and JWoww a new one," a show insider told the Chicago Sun-Times. Noting that Sorrentino is concerned such comments could hurt his brand endorsements, which are focused on straight male customers, the source added, "He's extremely upset."

In the interview, both JWoww and Snooki implied that despite his playboy reputation, Mike has questioned his own sexuality. "He brings it up," JWoww said. "He'll say, 'People think I'm gay and I don't know what they're talking about.'" Added Snooki: "He told me one time, '[All the talk is] making me wonder.'"

JWoww even compared Sorrentino to her gay best friend's husband, who was closeted for 27 years of his life. "So because of that I know...the signs," she said.

The Situation's publicist called Snooki and JWoww’s speculation “the most ridiculous statement I’ve ever heard" in response, the Sun-Times notes.

It's not the first time Sorrentino's sexuality has been questioned. Last year, former "Jersey Shore" star Angelina Pivarnick -- previously Sorrentino's love interest -- told Popeater, "I think Mike is gay. I think he's gay because of the way he talks and the way he abuses girls. He talks down to women...I honestly feel like he's in the closet right now; he doesn't want to come out."

In this new age of moral relativism and the celebration of one's own humanity, homosexuality is but another expression of love between sphuman beings, that said however, there is no such thing as homosexuality, for all sex is an evocation of DNA reproduction, so when an homosexual couple reaches orgasm, their bodies react to the evocation of heterosexuality, being that the latter is what permits self-reproduction, everyone's main biological directive. From an honest intellectual point of view, homosexuality is but a belief, a false belief that should not however be condemned from a moral or religious standpoint when the one main advantage of secularizarion is that it has breached the many barriers which many a fundamentalist ideology have proved to be a cauldron of divisiveness, distrust and contempt. Sexuality should be a "laissez faire" deal as long as consenting adults assume their sexuality in a responsible fashion.

I don't know about his sexual orientation, but this entire season he has been overly and obsessively focused on nothing but getting his buddy Unit to admit to some lame story about Mike hooking up with Snooks. First, who cares if you did, Mike? You're just one in a very long line. But it seems like he is pressing the point that " I SLEPT WITH A GIRL, REALLY I DID!" like he's trying to convince the world that he's straight. No matter which way he swings, he's still just a waste of oxygen.

Some people don't discover their sexuality until later in life, that doesn't mean one's in a closet or ashamed. If he's gay, so what? I hate when people try to force people to talk about their sexuality or make someone come out if they don't want to.
