Birther Movement: Pennsylvania Republican Seeks To Remove Obama From Ballot

Pennsylvania Birther

Baldwin-Whitehall Patch:

Barack Obama does not have the legal right to be President of the United States.

Such is the claim of Thomas Barchfeld, a Whitehall Borough resident from Glen Elm Drive and a member of the Whitehall Borough Republican Committee. And Barchfeld says that he has proof.

The 56-year-old former Democrat-he switched parties in 2011-has been going to the homes of registered Republicans in Whitehall (a Pittsburgh suburb) with a letter that he has written to Pennsylvania Secretary Carol Aichele claiming that Obama's natural-born citizenry is in serious question.

In fact, to Barchfeld, there is no doubt.

While Barchfeld does not directly question Obama's birthplace-the president was born in Hawaii in 1961-he instead focuses on Obama's parents. That's parents with an "s," and according to Barchfeld, that's extremely important.

Its ironic that someone would believe that article 2 would be written allowing for a commander in chief who was born to a British subject. After all one major cause of the war of 1812 was that starting in the mid 1790s the Royal Navy, short of manpower, began boarding American merchant ships in order to seize American and British sailors from American vessels. Although this policy of impressment was supposed to reclaim only British subjects, Britain did not recognize naturalized American citizenship, often taking seamen who had been born British subjects but later issued American citizenship certificates. The British believed many of the certificates were invalid. Barry was born to a British subject. The only POTUS to ever pull this off was Chester Arthur who burned some records. Its all quite intriguing actually.

Are you able to cite a Constitutional provision, federal statute or court precedent that would explicitly declare or at least imply that an individual born to a British subject cannot be President of the United States of America?

What you say is particularly ironic, considering that eight of the first nine Commanders-in-Chief were born British subjects. This muddling of the war of 1812, naturalized seamen and Chester Alan Arthur into the mix is just plain amusing.

Which one is Barry. Native born or Natural born? You decide. The court won't.

In the latest Georgia case, Judge Malihi determined Obama is a "Natural Born Citizen" and eligible to be on the ballot....read the decision. However, it's a birthers nightmare as it contains facts...beware.

His biggest problem is the forged birth certificate and use of a social security number belonging to that of a dead man.

The Certificate of Live Birth posted on the W.H. servers on April 27, 2011 that everyone in Washington DC is aware of but are afraid to say anything. Ten's of thousands of complaints have been filed and ignored.

Not forged? Ha-ha. If you want to pretend it does not exist as many here do, then, - - just pretend; continue to play, even if it means deceiving your children, there friends, or your grandchildren, all who until now have always looked up to you. They’ll probably never figure it out as long as Sean Hannity or Bill O”Reilly continue to play dumb.

“Hey dad, some kids at school said Obama, or whatever his name is, birth certificate is a forgery, that anyone could Google reports by Douglas Vogt, Mara Zebest, Jerome Corsi, and with just a few mouse clicks see for themselves if the multiple anomolies contained in their reports are true?”

“Well Billy, you see, we don’t like to talk about things like that. It’s best that we ignore it and ridicule those saying this; then maybe it will go away. Besides Billy, if those who voted for Obama determined they were defrauded they would probably become very angry. So just tell your friends at school to grow up or get a brain; anything that ridicules them!"

Oh my goodness. The Certificate of Live Birth posted online is an image of a document. It's not the document itself. All this talk about the image being forged is ridiculous and irrelevant. Do you know what would happen if you went to an agency which required you to produce a document proving you'd been born in the United States and told them you could show them such a document online?

I believe that you have confused baseless assertion of forgery, which you have issued, with demonstration of forgery, which you have not.  The two concepts, however, are not logically equivalent.  You have also confused allegation of use of a previously used Social Security Number with actual use of such.  Again, those two concepts are not logically equal.

Folks, this response is typical of what you will find here. He can't defend a counterfeit Registar's stamp on the forgery containing the misspelled word "TXE" and should have been "The". But no other purported certificate issued, either before or after Obama's contained the misspelling.

Two purported certification seals were applied, by hand, to the two certified copies picked up by Obama's attorney who traveled thousands of miles to "pick it up."

While this "pickup" itself is bizarre, more strangely The Registar's stamp, applied by hand to the two documents, is located on each document PRECISELY in the same place.

The politically correct forger could not bring himself to use the word "negro" on the document but instead used "African" which is not a race.

For twenty other anomolies, read the previously referenced reports. Don't forget the social security # and NBC issue.

Ten's of thousands of reports have been ignored!

Article 2 patriots have already brought up the fact that Rubio can't run for Pres or VP.
He actually would be very popular.

Sounds like a near relative to the more odious "14th Amendment citizens."

The current documents printed by the INS differentiate between a native born and a natural born citizen. Guess which one is required to be president and guess which one BHO is. Come on guess.

What are you talking about? If you are trying to use the logic of having a foreign born parent then that would disqualify the presidencies of Andrew Jackson, Thomas Jefferson, James Buchanan, Chester Author, Woodrow Wilson and Herbert Hoover.

IF the children of ILEGALs born in the U.S.A are citizens then it doesn't matter a darn about Obamas parent(s). he was born in the USA and even if this parents were CHINESE he would still legally qualify as a natural born us citizen. according to the constitution. you just cant have it both ways.

Why would you think our country runs on other countries' laws?

Lower Middle Elbonia could one day unilaterally declare all babies born in the US to be citizens of their country; would we be SOL for choosing a president from that day forward?

"I don't like his policies," Barchfeld said of Obama, but he maintained that his personal feelings aren't as important as upholding the law. "It is a constitutional issue."

All these diligent law abiding and concerned citizens appeared when the black man took office but were no where to be seen during the 8 years of the Bush administration's unlawful activities, so their credibility is nonexistent and their claims are bigoted and utter nonsense.

To claim anything otherwise is to be disingenuous. PERIOD

Hard to prove a negative, but show me any concern about Romney's citizenship during any talk of him running for president prior to this election.

The Tea Party was created two *weeks* after Obama took office, after 8 years of what most conservative Republicans would agree was extremely poor fiscal policy.

There is no need to prove reality, it just is...

That "prove it" line is typical of the Fox crowd that denies reality, factual information, science and a whole host of reality based evidence. To prove it to you would be futile since you would still deny the veracity of my links or proof. I stand by my post's original statement since there obviously was no [conservative based] Tea Party or anything remotely like it during the Bush years. PERIOD.

For Republicans who can't let this go, read up on the concept of dictum.  That is when the judge makes comments that are not necessary to resolve the case in front of him.  Dictum can be useful, but is not authoritative.
11:44 AM on 02/14/2012
Yep, thats what Malahi did, He Dictum. Not very judicious however.
