Blue Ivy Carter Photos: A First Look At Beyonce And Jay-Z's Daughter (PHOTOS)

Meet baby Blue Ivy Carter.

The first photos of Beyonce and Jay-Z's daughter Blue Ivy surfaced on Tumblr, revealing a beaming first-time mother holding her bundle of joy.

There's no doubt that Blue is the spitting image of her famous mom and dad. The 1-month-old baby girl is peacefully sleeping in the snapshots as Beyonce looks on with a smile from ear to ear and the proud new daddy holds his little lady close.

Jay-Z shared the intimate family photos, via his website Life and Times, with the message, "We welcome you to share in our joy. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives. The Carter family."

Although this may be the first glimpse we've gotten of Blue, the infant has already broken records after her cries were featured on her father's song "Glory." Jay-Z released the track two days after her birth, making her the youngest person ever to appear on a Billboard chart.

What a huge YAWN of a story. Except for the inexplicable deflated baby bump on the talk show
and the mysterious seclusion of an entire floor (which makes a person wonder if there is a surrogate hiding somewhere) The only thing nobody can argue with is that is a very pretty baby-no matter who gave birth to her.

I feel only pity for this baby.

Check in with her in about 18 years to see what a "healthy" adjustment to life she has had since starting out in a nursery resembling the F.A.O. Schwarts and Neimann Marcus fantasy toy extravaganza, complete with sold-gold rattles, platinum mobiles hanging from the ceiling and diaper pales lined in ostrich skin.

Yeah, her future looks real bright with 2 parents whose idea of parenting is whipping out their Gold Cards and saying "wrap-it-up-I'll-Take-it"...too tacky for words.

Can't wait to see 1st Birthday pictures on Rodeo Drive in her diamond encrusted mini-Escalade as she throws rubies to the peasants walking by.

So sad and so tasteless.

they have only been parents for a month...how do u know what their idea of parenting is? just because they can afford the finer things does not mean they will not also provide a loving home for this child. What is tasteless is this tacky comment on people you know nothing about.

Many babies in this country are born to unfit parents and go on to live lives of poverty, crime and much violence. I think you should probably save your pity and telethons for one of those. The young girl born into a world of extreme privilege and seeming love, though not guaranteed, seems to have a pretty good chance at having a pretty awesome future.
