Courteney Cox Tells 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' About Her Howard Stern 'Therapy Session' (VIDEO)

Courteney Cox stopped by "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (Weeknights, 12 a.m. EST on ABC) and talked about her recent "therapy session" on Howard Stern's radio show.

Although Cox had called Stern's show to promote "Cougar Town," she ended up telling his listeners how she's been celibate since she split from husband David Arquette.

She told Jimmy Kimmel "It was such a weird thing, because I'm so used to David doing Howard Stern." Arquette's a Stern show regular, but in October 2010 he infamously called into the show and admitted on-air that he'd cheated on Cox.

Cox's appearance on the radio show provoked a hilarious reversal of roles for the separated couple.

"He would go on all the time," said Cox "and always regret for talking so much. He couldn't help it, and he was like 'I hope you're not going to be mad at me.' ... This is the first time that I actually called him and I was like 'I hope you're not gonna be mad at me.'"

Kimmel complimented Cox on the friendly relationship she's maintained with Arquette, joking "You're really making everyone that's ever split up with anyone look very, very bad."

"Good!" laughed Cox.

Stern was at his best in the late 80's to mid 90's before his movie, divorce, and then when Billy West and Jackie left, that was the final straw. Now don't get me wrong, Stern is still better then anyone on radio (he evens admits that most of the talent in his industry is terrible), but he is a shell of what he once was. One he divorced to Allison, that whole angle of not being able to sleep with every gorgeous girl who walked in the studio was gone, because now he could and now he does with Beth! Once he became #1, he sort of lost that fire to be great everyday, as he stopped doing bits (Fred and Jackie are great writers), and he was content with his success (which I can't blame him.) Go listen to best-of Stern from around 1990-1995, that was when he was the true king, now he is a creepy guy pushing 60 that lost his edge.

Stern is a fantastic inverviewer. Listen to the Roger Waters interview he did a few weeks ago - you NEVER hear Roger that willing and open to talk to someone. Like him or not, Stern is just a better interviewer than the "basic q's" interviewers you usually hear. People like to point out his "immature questions" but that is just reading and choosing the lines they want to read while disregarding the rest of the book

Give the FULL SHOW three days and then make a decision. Still the best satire out there for those who love to hear intelligent people being immature.
