www.spinner.com:

It's been five months since Adele has sung in public and two since she underwent surgery for a hemorrhaged vocal cord. Following the procedure, she couldn't speak for six weeks, but somehow, the British songstress managed to say "yes" to making her comeback in front of millions of people on tomorrow night's Grammy Awards.

Like everyone else I love Adele. I am 65 years old, only buy opera music. 21 is the only popular music I have purchased in the last 25 years.
I like her even though she refuses to strip half naked, spread her thighs and do the squeegie weegie. How long can she last on the music scene, not even a crotch grab now and then?

Never seen a concert performance of hers before until I saw a nice program with on PBS tonight. It was Adele singing at a small venue in Santa Monica. Wow, great voice.

And I loved it when she finished each song, she'd yap about something regarding the next song, and her speaking voice to so cockneyish, and her demeanor was so un-diva. Such an interesting contrast to her singing style. She seems to be having a blast.

Great to hear that Adele's voice seems back to normal. It's a wonderful instrument backed by a very talented songwriter.

I have "never" had any interest in watching the grammys. I'll be watching tomorrow, her voice is bliss. She's the only one I've heard who like Linda Ronstadt can just overwhelm the technology that's supposed to capture her voice, they just blow the technology out of the room.

I think she is a very good singer, but she sounds like so many others these days it really doesn't do much for me. Then again, I like Steely Dan and Linda Perry from 2 non blonde's. No exactly your crowd pleasing vocalist ..

You are tone deaf. She is without a doubt the best singer of our time and none of the others can come close to her.

Adele is a very talented singer. She's amazing live. I absolutely adore her!!
The pressure put on her after the spectacular success of 21 must be overwhelming!! Can you imagine having to live up to these ridiculous expectations?

She sounded great singing "Rolling In The Deep" for Anderson Cooper. The clip was on CBS "This Morning" yesterday. Great voice but I too wonder what's next for her. Two CDs of really downbeat songs are probably enough.

Anyone else getting tired of this woman beside me? yes she has a great voice, but her music is always sad and the "poor me" theme is getting old...

Link doesn't work, but never mind. First heard Adele on NPR stations and just love her. Hope her voice is A-OK.
