Pregnant Celebrities' Post-Baby Bodies: Before And After (PHOTOS)

First Posted: 02/11/2012 9:46 am Updated: 02/11/2012 11:09 am

Just one month after giving birth to Blue Ivy, Beyonce made her first post-baby public outing this week when her husband, Jay-Z, gave a concert at Carnegie Hall.

Bey's much-buzzed-about outings -- she stepped out not once, but twice this week -- set the bar mighty high in terms of stunning everyone with a post-baby comeback, but she's not the only one to shine after becoming a mom.

Victoria's Secret model Miranda Kerr looked better than ever when she stepped out just eight weeks after giving birth to son Flynn last year, as did Jessica Alba, who was absolutely glowing when she showed off her figure less than a month after giving birth.

As for all new moms, it can be a struggle for celebrities to get back into pre-pregnancy shape -- although we're sure it's helpful to have a personal trainer and chef to help the process along.

Check out some photos of stars' post-baby bodies below:

Give me break... these "stars" have unlimited access to nannies, personal fitness trainers, chefs, person assistants, plastic surgeons and the financial means to look great after having a baby. Lets salute the real moms who don't have all those perks and manage to look great after having a baby!!

Thanks ladies - for giving mere mortal women yet another reason to find fault with their bodies. When will you self obsessed females start reminding people about the hours and hours every day you spend exercising; of the nannies who care for your baby while you catch up on sleep; of the private chefs who cook the most nutritious and healthy option meals for you; of the surgeries; of the expensive undergarments you wear to achieve this 'hot' body? At least TRY to remind women how very different your lives are from theirs so that yet another generation of women don't do themselves serious physical and mental harm by trying to achieve what you model.

HP needs to work on their headlines! "Pregnant Celebs Post-baby" ... don't they realize that's an oxymoron?

Nature has made it to where women's bodies grow with pregnancy. It's not an option. When you're young (still able to have babies) nature makes it easier to lose weight. The older we get the harder it is to lose and genes DO play a role in how easy or difficult it is to lose/maintain/gain weight. Some health conditions change things up as well.

When you love a person - sometimes as they age they can't maintain their previous physical attributes but the love should remain firm no matter what. And I say that as a size 6. In this day and age of internet access I think we are on the same level playing field these days as the movie stars. We (humans in general) act like we've gained fame and can have anybody we choose...and then find they started out choosing us, or maybe it was our chosing them, but they/we think an online relationship MIGHT be better and they risk a good one in front of them over a pretend one.

Learn to love based on their heart. That likely won't change while the physical can. Even young people can get very ill with diseases that rapidly change things. Look to the heart first and foremost. Then you have a better change of staying happy rather than wasting time trying to achieve the unachievable. Happiness comes from WITHIN before you can share it with overs.

This headline is hysterical. One cannot be pregnant and post baby at the same time.

Agreed. Exactly my thought on that.

At the risk of sounding mean, Tori Spelling's face in the 'after' picture is terrifying. I don't know WHAT she's done to her face.

Thank you once again, Huffpost, for perpetuating unhealthy body images in women.

when someone has the money these women have it's a lot easier to look good in a short time after giving birth. They have the time, nannies, personal trainers, etc. If we all at those luxuries everyone would be on the same playing field.

I was going to say the same exact thing.

And yet frankly they're prisoner of their images. Any of them are going to breastfeed? I seriously doubt that.

Miranda Kerr does, I know that. Well, "know" might be a bit strong. But she has always come off as honest and sincere, and I have no reason to doubt her word.

Some of these women look better pregnant.

Please stop glorifying post baby bods....not everyone can miraculously bounce back after birth within a week!

I personally don't think that's natural any way.

Not a fan of Beyonce at all, and could care less about her baby...but DAMN SHE IS FINE. The above pic of her in the red dress is stunning. That body is near perfect. I LOVE a voluptuous woman.

Wow. What harshness some people express about a woman who just had a baby. Unless she forces herself to starve, she will have a full curvy shape like her mom and like most men love, unless they have the mind set like Karl Lagerfeld's toward curvy women. You can eat healthy and not be so thin as the body of a 10 year old boy. God created beautiful flowers as he created people in all sizes, shapes and colors. To me, Beyonce is part of that bouquet and so are you.

Women like Miranda and Alessandra, who have jobs that require them to look a certain way, need to work very, very hard to get back into shape. How they look *is* their livelihood.

Now, with Posh, I think she's just part-alien. :) I mean, she's had FOUR kids, and still looks dynamite! It's really weird, frankly. But she works very hard and obviously has a good metabolism.

Enough people! Had my third little one just 6 months ago and I was back in jeans t days after birth! Lost every single lb by my 6 week check up! I was in shape pre-pregnancy and didn't gain tons of weight. I ate healthy and remained active and I suspect she did the same. It's not hard at all that's a combo of genes and lifestyle

Beyonce faked her pregnancy she should be listed above.
