Grammys 2012: Adele & 11 Past Winners Holding Too Many Grammys (PHOTOS)

The Huffington Post   First Posted: 02/12/2012 1:03 pm   Updated: 02/13/2012 8:01 am

Before Adele cleaned house at the 54th annual Grammy Awards Sunday, we noticed something unique (and pretty funny) about music's biggest night. Perhaps the greatest part of the show is seeing musicians win a BUNCH of awards and then have to walk out in front of the press while trying to hold them all at once.

We mean come on: when was the last time you saw someone holding six Oscar awards? In this respect, the Grammys stand alone.

So how many Grammys is too many to hold? Let's just say that Too Many Limes Guy better watch his back, because he's got some competition here. Vote for your favorite picture!

I never heard of Adele before but her song was the best thing on show.  They had to do the most extravagant production numbers to make most of the songs at least watchable.

Adele is not bad....not great, but not bad....Celine Dion or Streisand, she's not. BUT today there's so many 3rd rate singers like Beyonce, lady gaga, etc that it's depressing. For you younger folks, if you want to know what great singing is.....go listen to Ella Fitzgerald sing "Mr. Paganini" or Sarah Vaughn sing "I fall in love to easily". You'll understand.

Oh hell yeah....what have you got against Celine? Shes one of the greatest female vocalists ever....anybody with ears can hear that. I've seen her live....she sings with abandon....she goes for every high note with everything she's got, fearlessly, and sings flawlessly doing vocal acrobatics that would scare the hell out of most singers. Just imagine going for those high notes as loudly as you can and never blowing one....she's AMAZING. Are you kidding??? She's got even more power than Streisand.

Lot of gals singing about their ex's last night. The Grammies are about the only time I get exposed to the pop world. Proly stay that way.

Why is there a Song of the Year and Record of the Year? The difference?

Song of the year celebrates the signer. The record of the year celebrates all the people that worked on the album. That's the way it was explained on the radio.

Did Jethro Tull win any more awards for being the best Metal band?
10:53 AM on 02/13/2012
Hey, only one on the list lacks real performance talent, and even she is a good song writer. These are a "snapshop in time" awards that honor only a select niche of highly marketed pop, rock, hip hop music. Several categories were eliminated from the Grammy's this year. Too bad the category of White Boy No Rythm RocknRoll Just Jump Up in the Air and Swing Your Stringy Hair Around Award wasn't eliminated in favor of keeping Latin Jazz.
