Liya Kebede, who has been fashion modeling for more than a decade, remembers worrying that her pregnancy would derail her then still-new career. "It was new at that time for a model to have a child and continue working in those days," she says. "It was a first-of type of situation, how to deal with it, how to still maintain my career afterwards. I was nervous but he was really wonderful about it. So supportive. So encouraging. He was saying, 'It's fine. We'll work through it. It will be o.k.' I was shooting through the pregnancy. He was there for me. That meant a lot to me at that time."
