Cristiano Ronaldo Hat Trick: Real Madrid Star Score Three Goals Against Levante (VIDEO)

That Cristiano Ronaldo scored during Real Madrid's La Liga match against Levante is hardly noteworthy. That Ronaldo netted a hat trick can also not come as a great surprise these days as he has now tallied 34 goals in 33 appearances. But the golazo that capped his three-score outing against Levante? No matter how accustomed we become to CR7 getting his name in the scorer's book, there are moments when he can still take our breath away. With Los Blancos holding a 2-1 edge in the second half, Ronaldo belted a long-range looping strike from 30 yards that absolutely overwhelmed Gustavo Munua in the Levante goal.

Ronaldo's first strike of the day came from the penalty spot and knotted the game, 1-1, before halftime.

Just a five minutes into the second half, Ronaldo propelled Madrid into the lead with his second goal of the match, heading home a cross from Gonzalo Higuain.

Just seven minutes on from that goal, Ronaldo would grasp the reins of the match for Madrid with that superb golazo. Coming on the heels of Barcelona's shock loss at Osasuna on Saturday, Madrid's 4-2 triumph moves them a whopping 10 points clear of their rivals at the top of the league table. While scoring goals has never been an issue for the Portuguese striker, besting the Catalans over the course of the season would prove a rarer success.

On that second goal, they should show that video to young defenders as a lesson in what not to do. If the defender had concentrated on keeping himself between ball and goal, instead of dragging on the attacker's arm, he might have prevented that beautiful cross. Instead he let himself get off-balance. Kudos to the attacking player too for great footwork, and of course to C. Ronaldo for the great header.

A.) It wasn't a defender
B.) This isn't basketball keeping yourself btw goal and ball works but sometimes you make the best of your position.
