'Dancing With The Stars' Season 14: Gavin DeGraw Reportedly Cast

With the official cast announcement just weeks away, "Dancing With the Stars" casting rumors are running rampant. The latest name: singer Gavin DeGraw.

One Republic singer Ryan Tedder -- he can be seen on an upcoming episode of NBC's "Smash" -- told The Hollywood Reporter that DeGraw has signed on to appear in Season 14 of the ABC dance competition. When asked if there was a reality show Tedder would audition for had he not achieved fame on his own, Tedder spilled the news. "Gavin DeGraw is doing 'Dancing With the Stars,' I just heard," he said. The two recently worked together.

Pro dancer Cheryl Burke recently revealed she wants Victor Cruz to join the cast after seeing his salsa moves. Another footballer, Tim Tebow, was rumored to be ready to go after the mirrorball trophy, but Broncos spokesman Patrick Smyth shot that rumor down, telling TheWrap that Tebow is not interested in doing the show and is focusing on the upcoming NFL season.

According to Hollywood Life, "DWTS" producers want E! fixture Giuliana Rancic for the show. Other rumored names include Bruce Jenner and "The View" co-host Sherri Shepherd.

ABC's official cast announcement isn't scheduled until Feb. 28, but that hasn't stopped HuffPost TV from coming up with our own Season 14 cast wish list. Check it out below.

Also, they should change the name of the show to "dancing with some people that a few other people have heard of"
Or "Dancing with people who were on TV once before"
Seriously, this is almost as bad as when Screech and Tonya Harding showed up on ""Celebrity" Boxing"

Gavin McGraw, Tim DeGraw??? WHO??!! Never heard of him. Blah for DWTS getting this guy. PLEASE NO Bruce Plastic Jenner!! I'm sick of that whole bunch although Rob did a great job last season. Come on DWTS! Get some people of interest!!

It's Gavin DeGraw. He is a singer. He was also brutally beaten up a few months back, but he is doing okay now.

Gavin DeGraw??? He might as well be a high school chemistry teacher for all I know about him. Frankly, I wouldn't tune into DWTS even if my old high school chemistry teacher, Earl "Buster" McGladrey, joined the cast.

The slide show mentioned Jamie Lee Curtis as a possible contender. I would LOVE that! Great lady. Also, she's a real "star" and not just a wannabe. Dance Jamie, dance!
