Ha, the comments on the Boston Globe page are a hoot, I love this one:
"Give me a break. This is the story of a typical American family and a teenager with typical insecurities, but spun into a woe-is-me tale. Warren, please see a shrink."

Perhaps Elizabeth Warren, who today is a millionairess, should run for local position first, so we can see how well she can represent people with diverse views/needs.This would be good, because she could then learn about the issues we in MA are concerned about. If she does well, then consider a run for congress. She might even get involved in some charity work?

U.S. Senator Scott Brown, R-MA, is learning the hard way: When you vote against kid's health, you have to expect a backlash. American Lung Association data showing that that over 130,000 kids and nearly 500,000 adults in Massachusetts suffer from asthma. At that time NRDC and Environment Massachusetts ran the following radio ads because Brown was telling constituents he would support efforts to block EPA from reducing pollution:
... [N]ow Senator Scott Brown wants to cripple the EPA when it comes to protecting us from carbon dioxide, by letting big polluters dump unlimited amounts into our air. Please call Scott Brown … and ask him why he's putting corporate polluters and their profits ahead of the health of our families.

Some very warped analysis of this article. Perhaps it is innate on the "right" - nothing right about them really, to call a spade a shovel. There must be a term for that sort of mind set oh, yes, habitual lying! Very sad indeed!

Reading this article, it appears that she has "Mommy issues". Good for her that she has come this far, but how does her life experience serve as an inspiration for govt action to ensure 'equality in incomes' among other things? And how can anyone who tries to pass themselves off as a 'consumer advocate' have anything to do with this modern day Dem Party? The worst thing going for consumers are  their policies! I congratulate her on her success, but at the end of the day, all that has happened is that she has become an academic elitist who has benefited from cronyism along with the best of them!

From reading the article, it seems like Warren is the perfect Lib; arrogant, elitist, condescending, intolerant and not a very nice person.

Her popularity says to me that people are aching for someone "normal". That is the attraction to her. She seems like someone most of us know.

As an observer from the sidelines, I hope to see Warren as president some day.
She exemplifies much of the best of America.
She made it without money or connedctions. Rather she acheived it by her own efforts.
It would have been so easy for a Harvard graduate with those memories of a family struggling financially to have gone into the corporate world and made a fortune. There's no doubting that she has the ability.
But she stayed in academia and helped to developed policy instead; she stayed where she could do the most good - for others.
She has become a voice for fairness in a country where, for those in power, fairness has ceased to be desirable.
She speaks for those who lack the money to have leverage in Washington.
I confidently predict that she will make a fine senator and a great first female president.

She has money. She's worth about 10 million. Ask her about her two million dollar house.
Take the blinders off.
