The Fab, The Bad And The Cheesy: The 2012 Grammy Awards Sets (VIDEOS)

First Posted: 02/13/2012 1:47 pm   Updated: 02/13/2012 1:48 pm

We decided to give a little love to the standout sets from the Grammys yesterday (and some hate too, when necessary).

The evening delivered a huge variety of set designs from over the top (Nicki Minaj / Roman) to nearly naked (Jennifer Hudson). Watch our favorites and least favorites in the fab, the bad and the cheesy below, and let us know what you think in the comments section.

Who were the worst offenders and what sets made you leap for joy?

There was a lot of hype surrounding Nicki Minaj's debut of "Roman Holiday" and, as can be expected from Miss Minaj, there was a whole lot of weird. From pelvic-thrusting exorcisms to abundant fire explosions to flipping Popes, we kind of forgot there was even a song, to be honest. But the set was sure something to write home (or have nightmares) about, no?

What did you think: fabulous or cheesy?

Bruno was the best I thought, then the set with the Foos in the white box w/Deadmaus. I have never ever been a fan of Taylor Swift cause everytime I had seen her on one of these shows she was terrible (thanks to auto tune &pro tools she sounds OK on the radio). I have to admit I honestly enjoyed her set with the Appalachian 40s feel to it, it was pretty cool. The finale was cool with Dave Grohl, Paul Mc., and Joe Walsh.

Um. I loved Bruno Mars. That performance was fun.
