Bill Maher's New Rule For Google Users (VIDEO)

Bill Maher New Rule

As Google's many services have become everyday tools for millions, personal security is a constant issue. The funny thing is, no matter what fear-inducing headlines we read about the security of our online information, we keep Googling, Google Plus-ing and Google Map-ing to our heart's content. But that doesn't mean we can't complain about it.

In the exclusive preview from this week's episode of "Real Time" above, Bill Maher calls for an end to the complaints that Google is "stealing" information. Let's just say it has a little to do with the company's name, but even more to do with how another website makes us feel in comparison. And we can't argue there.

"Real Time" airs Fridays at 10:00 p.m. on HBO.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (2/15/12)

The NEW YORK GIANTS SECRET WEAPON!

Three days before Super Bowl XLVI, NEW YORK GIANTS wide receiver Victor Cruz received a DVD delivered to his room at the Marriott Hotel in Indianapolis. It was the award-winning comic documentary, “Abel Raises Cain.”
The hilarious movie, produced and directed by filmmakers Jennifer Abel and Jeffrey Hockett, had won Best Documentary First Prize at Slamdance, also festivals in the USA, England, Canada, Spain and Denmark.
Cruz and his fellow players were to view this film farce for relaxation, to defuse the intense pressure generated by Super Bowl activities. According to one team manager, a laugh-out-loud movie is necessary for pre-game relief, because laughter is the only stress reducer without side effects. That became their secret weapon!
“Abel Raises Cain” is a compilation of major media hoaxes perpetrated by satirist Alan Abel. His antics were always published as fact, rather than fiction. For example, a campaign to clothe all naked animals for the sake of decency, a faux school for begging, an euthanasia cruise line, the KKK Symphony and many others.
One hotel employee said, “They laughed and cheered like happy fans after a GIANTS touchdown.” Perhaps the most important revelation is that the illustrious NEW YORK GIANTS won the XLVI Super Bowl, once again world champions!
And hats off to the Abel-Hockett team for their contribution.

Does anybody else get an ad, and if it's over 5 secs, just goes to another page? I do this all the time. I figure whatever I'm waiting for probably isn't worth it. But maybe my attention span has been shot on the internet?? Just wondering.

YES!!! Anytime they try to show an ad, I IMMEDIATELY go to their competitor's websites.

I HATE marketing. The best way to get me to NEVER buy your product it to advertise it. I feel sorry for all these suckers that are still doing TV with commercials. I left that junk behind years ago and I will never go back. So, please, spend hundreds of millions for your stupid commercials, that way I get to laugh that you spent so much to ensure I never buy your product.

New rule: I will no longer watch a fifteen second commercial in order to see a 20 second video.

HP only rolls out these dumb articles to get more money for advertising. If they actually did real news, they'd make about 25 a day.

Crutches are hillarious.

The expression is "rubber crutches", but we always judge banality from where is comes.

Yes, it is. I just don't want all the rest that go with the bundling. If I could only subscribe to what I want.

Another bait and switch article. I clicked on link to watch Bill Maher but I got to watch a T-Mobile ad instead, the same ad we've been forced to watch at least 50 times already.

You have to watch the 30 second commercial to watch the 30 second clip. It wasn't worth it.
