'I'll Marry You,' Italian Pro-Gay Marriage Clip, Hits The Web (VIDEO)

Just in time for Valentine's Day, a stunning pro-gay marriage video from Italy is making the rounds of the blogosphere.

The slickly-produced clip, titled "I'll Marry You," depicts a handsome Italian gay couple tying the knot. But their female friends aren't left out in the cold -- in a surprise twist, a lesbian couple also gets engaged at their reception.

The video was produced by Italian LGBT advocacy group Arcigay and features music by Lorenzo 'Jovanotti' Cherubini, according to Towleroad.

The clip is similar in both tone and execution to the Australian "It's Time" clip, which went viral last year. You can view that video here.

Though Italy bans discrimination on the grounds of race, religion, ethnicity and nationality, the government reportedly voted against a bill that would have extended similar protections to its LGBT residents last year.

What a big deal? Inspite of the fact that as far as I know, same-sex marriage in Italy isn't 100% legal, it must be quite popular there....I've even found couple of companies wich specializes in arranging gay marriages....for example: http://www.marrymeinvenice.com

That is SO sweet and warm and left me feeling so good! Parts reminded me of how it all happened for me. We just had to wait ten years to add a piece of paper from the State of California, but the cool part was that our son was able to participate the second time. Everyone deserves the special feelings we got to enjoy in an atmosphere of support.
