Michelle Obama: Jason Wu For Target Dress In Florida! (PHOTOS)

She's seated at a table and she's wearing a sweater over it. But if you look very, very closely, you can see it: Michelle Obama's wearing Jason Wu for Target!

Be still our collab-loving hearts. Mrs. O appeared in Florida over the weekend, eating healthy and exercising for her Let's Move! campaign, when she appeared the Sleeveless Chiffon Dress in Navy Floral with Gold Belt ($39.99) from Wu's Target collab. Of course she gussied the look up FLOTUS-style, replacing the gold belt with a red one and cinching it over a blue cardigan.

We shouldn't be too surprised Michelle picked up a piece of Target's latest designer collection, given the first lady's affection for both Jason Wu (her choice for her inaugural ball gown, of course) and Target (she hit up the big box store back in September). But we are still impressed with her quickness, as the collection hit stores just 9 days ago and was selling out like, well, a Target designer collaboration.

FLOTUS must have snuck off for a surreptitious Target run... or, y'know, used her connections to have one shipped to the White House. Either way, it's fairly awesome.

I wish the Jason Wu collection would have had enough pieces to not sell out in five seconds. I loved the line and it is frustrating that Target put it out there knowing most of us won't be able to get it.

People come in ALL sizes. Mrs. Obama is a tall woman (5'10") who is very fit and buff. If she were 5", would she be an "undersized" woman? You are such a FOOL!

I guess this is supposed to be shocking. I could look like a million bucks shopping at Macy's or even at TJMaxx. There's no need to spend what some rich people spend on clothes to look stylish; however, Target is the last place I'd ever want to shop for clothes or shoes or jewelry. I don't even like buying underwear there.

Thank you for that response. At lease people are starting to see some of the more insidious forms of racism. The forms that they can try to deny. Hatred of the first family is based on nothing but jealous hatred of black people, who do not fit any of the stereotypes they are comfortable with.

My oh my, the politics involving a dress worn by our FLOUS....can anyone tell if they have been able to find some more pieces of the collection in a Target near Rumson NJ? There are more pieces each time I have been in aTarget on Rte. 35,but they never got in the t-shirt,or accessories....anyone find any of those in the tri-state area?

I asked about Targets "near" Rumson...I know and shop at the one in Middletown,I guess I will need to stop at the 2 Targets in Rockland County, NY,when I visit friends there later this week.They are much larger stores and might have received more JW merchandise....

A $40 dress on a classy lady still equates to a classy lady. A $15,000 dress on a piece of trash still leaves a piece of trash. The fashion industry and most of the media would have you believe that you need to spend a lot of money on garments but Michele knows better and is not afraid to show it. If you need to look like you have a lot of money, buy a fake "Coach" bag and let people think that you can afford it even if deep down you know you cannot but are OK with fooling yourself and pretending.
