'Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory' Cast: Where Are They Now?

In 1971, director Mel Stuart's adaptation of "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" captured the hearts and minds of children around the world. Starring Gene Wilder as the cooky chocolatier, the film would eventually spawn a successful candy brand based on the story.

This past week, David Kelly, the actor who played Grandpa Joe in Tim Burton's 2005 remake of "Wonka," passed away at the age of 82. In honor of "Wonka's" world, let's take a look at where the original cast is now.

I just love Gene Wilder he has this magic about him no matter what film he acted in he made you feel like the world was a better place. Thank you Gene for all the laughs & happy moments

How how how much do I love me some Willy Wonka? More than all the water in the ocean, all the grass in the fields, and all the chocolate in the factory! So much fun to walk down memory lane again! Veruca Salt!!!
