House will committ sucide when Wilson dies of cancer, moral of the story being throughout the 8 yrs, House is a drug addict, goes to jail, goes to rehab, logical end he dies of an OD
He loses his bestest buddy, Wilson. Has no other reason to live. Bored with life and sick of being in chronic pain. Foreman now is the new House and the wheels spin on while Foreman grieves and so do the other players. Cuddy may make a cameo in some way. Game over. Bye-bye now.

house and wilson will go out together in a novel way, wilson with his cancer, and house committing sucidie with out his bestest buddy, the only one who knows him and gets him. wilson dies, then house takes an OD, obvious ending to a common theme running for 8 yrs plus, first drug addict gets in trouble with copper, then goes to rehab, lastly the morla message will be you die from taking drugs in an OD fashion. that is how its gonna be. foreman stays on as house -ish that he didnt wanna be but now is, and program goes on at pp, like always but foreman is chief now and others fade into grief losing the two biggies.

The show lasted too long. Every episode was the same. I stopped watching after the 2nd season.

At press time Laurie was reportedly preparing for his next big role following the series finale of House:

That's right, you take your fake American asz back to that little island! Who needs you anyways? Not me. Go on. Go already. Maybe you could do some smart, original, BBC comedy show. But I won't watch it. I won't use the torenntz to see that show when it comes out. No way.

House jumped the shark when it became Huddy a couple of years ago. The decision to quit the show by both Fox and Laurie before ratings sank it was a cunning plan.

Technically that makes like 9.1million.

Love the show, big fan, I knew it would be the last season when the Cuddy character didn't resign. The formula for the show was, House, Wilson and Cuddy. Once one of those characters was out, the whole thing collapsed. It's a formula that has been proven to work in any sitcom/major motion picture.

Most knew the deal Hugh...and realized that the show was losing some of its luster...and you all wanted to go out on a reasonably "high note"

Andit makes sense to me.........

Am I correct in saying this is the best Job Laurie ever had? I'm not familiar with his local work in Britain. For all I know after the Bertie Wooster series he only had one minor job every other year, usually playing a befuddled character. Perhap he had a couple 'meaty' roles in local British TV before going to House but I never saw any of it.

It depends on what you mean by 'meaty'. Without Googling him, I can recall his performances in Jeeves & Wooster, Black Adder II/III/IV, A Bit of Fry & Laurie, and a few other odds and ends. He's a Cambridge graduate, a Footlights alum, and quite a good singer and piano player. He's a household name in Britain and is probably quite content with that. The best job Hugh Laurie ever had was whatever he says it was, and that might not be the one with the funny accent and the funny walk.
