Jada Pinkett Smith's 'Burn' Song Dedicated To Will Smith

It seems Jada Pinkett Smith is trying to put those pesky divorce rumors to rest.

On Tuesday, the actress used her Facebook page to release a new song, "Burn," dedicated to her husband of 14 years, Will Smith. On the track, Pinkett Smith sings, "Can you feel my heartbeat?/Next to yours?/Stay here within me/Never leave me/I want to burn."

In a note accompanying the song, the actress wrote:

With the major losses we have experienced in the last few weeks...

We should remember...

Our lives are worth living fully.

Therefore...

Our risks are worthy.
Our mistakes are worthy.
Our traumas are worthy as well.
The very paths we are told not to
tread are the paths that hold the
keys to our deepest understanding of

The split rumors emerged last August, when In Touch Weekly reported that the couple had allegedly separated. In a statement released shortly after the report, the couple denied the claims: "Rumors circulating about our relationship are completely false," it read. "We are still together, and our marriage is intact."

Still, the rumors continued to circulate, with sources claiming that Pinkett Smith had met with celebrity divorce lawyer Laura Wasser in early January, though the couple was spotted together later that month at a Philadelphia 76ers basketball game.

Does anyone have so little of a personal life that they really care? I have never met either Jada Pinkett Smith or Will Smith and frankly could care less what they do. As an actor I do like many, if not all, of the movies Will Smith has been in. I personally do not live vicariously through his movies or his and her lifes.

The song is beautiful, and if a song could determine the length, and validity of a relationship; what a world this would be. You know it is sad though, down through the years I have always heard the divorce rumors about Will and Jada. Your words have power, and maybe someone feels if they use the power of suggestion or transference that their words will come to past. I would hope that the Smith's would not receive any of this negativity, and send those words back to the sender. That they would speak nothing, but prosperity into their relationship.

If this couple is as strong and as grounded as they appear to be, I too hope they will - in spite of all their trials - remain together. Both are wise beyond their years, have seen suffering at levels that most only read about, see in movies, and both are multi-talented individuals. Good spouses and good parents don't fall off trees and unless there is abuse, violence, etc., life gets better when the couple "wakes up", look at the piles of bodies around them and resolve to make - not wait, MAKE their marriage into what they want it to be. However, should Will and Jada decide to part, there's no doubt that each is totally capable of moving on, doing well. I admire both of them.

It is what is, if there's no truth to the rumor then they will be fine, on the other hand if there is truth to the rumor it will be difficulty regardless if they reunite. Action and acts can be forgiven but trusting is hard and may never be restored, and without trust there will always be turmoil.
