Juggler Dextre Tripp Uses A Chainsaw To Slice An Apple -- In His Mouth (VIDEO)
On the list of activities it's best not to attempt, chainsaw juggling has to be at the top of the list.
No, better to leave that particular "sport" to folks like sideshow performer Dextre Tripp, who is a seasoned practitioner of the chainsaw arts.
Tripp demonstrates the particulars of chainsaw juggling on the February 18 episode of "Oddities," and admits that it, like other parts of his act is "amazingly dangerous stupid stuff."
"I'm a trained professional," he said. "I've been doing this for years. I know exactly what I'm doing and I just think you shouldn't try it at home."
The highlight of Tripp's act is a bit where he sticks an apple in his mouth and slices it with the chainsaw just inches from his face.
Incredibly, he says he's never been seriously injured.
"I've just had a few minor nicks here and there and certainly hacked up a few floors," Tripp said.
Chainsaw juggling isn't the only way Tripp pushes the envelope. He also entertains tourists in Arizona by unicycling on the rim of the Grand Canyon.
