If the girl truly wants to be a model, then Cindy should start her around 13-14. After all, the modeling industry is youth-driven and Kimora Lee Simmons was walking runways at 13, herself. 10 is definitely too young to be in the "business". Children only have one chance to be carefree.

What an excellent decision for her to make on behalf of her daughter.

I saw Donny Osmond (don't start please) on a show and he talked about how when he was little he called home while touring with Andy Williams and begged to come home. He just wanted to be a boy.

He talked about how he and Michael Jackson were friends at that age and they comiserated how miserable they were. They wanted normalcy. Each had become breadwinners for their families. They had crushing depression and anxiety. Apparently Whitney Houston's mother feared her daughter's involvement in the music industry. She was right.

Children should be allowed to be CHILDREN!!! The celebrities children you don't hear about because their parents keep them separated from the "Business" are likely far healthier than the ones dragged around like puppies. There are enough sad stories about child actors.

Does anyone think that poor little SURI will be normal and well-adjusted? I don't. She has the Kookie Katie dressing her like she's an adult......and then there is weird Tom. But I digress......children have only one shot at being a kid....let them have it.

Great choice and a real show of love that Cindy Crawford did for her child. That is a decision that won't have any regret...the other decision isn't worth the risk.
