First Lady And Dog Bo Welcome Surprised School Kids At White House

WASHINGTON -- School kids visiting the White House got a brief scare when Michelle Obama popped up and warned them there would be a 50-question test at the end of their tour.

With a straight face she warned the youngsters: "You don't get out of the house unless you pass it." But then she quickly reassured them: "I'm kidding."

The first lady, with dog Bo, set up an informal receiving line Thursday, dispensing hugs and handshakes to startled visitors on the morning tour.

When one man told her it was a wonderful home, Mrs. Obama agreed, adding jokingly, "We try to keep it up. There's a lot of vacuuming, dusting."

She chatted about fashion, dogs, eating vegetables and more, with surprised visitors.

I've been on here for awhile now today.....very few comments....had a good time... not too much conversation with others. Way too much defense of my comments and myself though.
Sorry, thought I was on a discussion board. I did make a few friends on here today and learned that "we conservatives" are not allowed to voice our opinions as freely as liberals are on here.

The Forst Lady always looks so beautiful and amazing! I love her sense of humor, and Bo the dog is adorable!!!! Isn't it great to know they treat their dog so well? Unlike Mitt Romney who tied his dog to the top of the roof of his car for 12 hours on his way to Canada? He should have gone to jail for Animal Cruelty. Too bad he didn't stay in Canada. BTW his dog ran away when he did get to Canada, and that is not a joke but is true.

Where have you been? This story has been on every news channel, every comedy show, and it happens to be TRUE! Read the link below and if you put it in your browser "Mitt Romney Puts His Dog On Rooftop of his car", you will see so many links even a couple of him trying to explain why he did it. It was a NON-Stop 12 hour ride that even when the dog pooped all over and it came down the window, he just used a hose at the gas station to hose the poor dog off as well as the car, never gave him a walk and when he finally got to Canada, the dog got loose and ran away never to be seen again. This guy is despicable. And Chevy Chase tied his dead Aunt to the car, not a dog. A dog was dragged behind the car not on top of it in that movie. Here's the link about Romney :

Pictures of Michelle? No, I was giving this person a link to read about Mitt Romney putting his dog on the roof of his car for a 12 hour drive. Just horrible! If you are referring to my comment about how beautiful she looks, to me she always looks great. And even in this particular picture with her playing with Bo, she looks good. I think she is amazing as well as our President. I love having such a young, beautiful, family in the White House.

Senator Edward Kennedy gave Bo to the Obamas before his death because Sen. Kennedy loved Portuguese Water Dogs so much and one of the Obama daughters has allergies that rule out most dogs, but not Portuguese Water Dogs.

Bettaman just said that Michelle Obama was an amazing lady, not THE MOST AND ONLY amazing lady. She happens to be our current First Lady. Others can ba amazing too, locnar. Do we have to list every other person we think is amazing whenever we write that we admire a particular person in order to satisfy you? Or are just one of those haters who refuse to give the Obamas even a microscopic bit of credit. I'm suspecting that's it.
