Surveillance footage captured a disturbing incident in the Tenderloin Tuesday afternoon, during which a shuttle bus struck a pedestrian then pinned him underneath it, despite the victim's obeying of all traffic laws.
KRON 4 obtained video from the accident, which occurred as the pedestrian was in the middle of the crosswalk at the intersection of Eddy and Leavenworth Streets. The bus was making a right hand turn.
According to the SF Appeal, the victim is expected to survive. Both the driver and pedestrian suffered injuries and were taken to the hospital.
