Michael Lewis' Coach': 'Moneyball' Author's Book To Be Made Into A Movie By Disney

Michael Lewis' Coach' To Be Made Into Movie

In case you haven't gotten your fill of impassioned sports movies based on books, Disney has just announced plans to adapt another story from "Moneyball" author Michael Lewis to the big screen.

According to Variety, the "Blind Side' writer's 2005 book, "Coach: Lessons on the Game of Life," will be made into a feature, with the author himself taking on screenwriting duties. The story follows Lewis as he rediscovers the importance of one baseball mentor and coach.

Lewis has had success with his previous two film adaptations: "The Blind Side" starring Sandra Bullock -- who won a Best Actress Oscar for her portrayal of Leigh Anne Tuohy -- went on to gross more than $300 million at the box office, and "Moneyball," which has been nominated for six Academy Awards this year -- Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Supporting Actor, Best Adapted Screenplay, Best Film Editing, Best Sound Mixing -- and grossed more than $100 million.

"Coach" currently has not release date.
